For those who usually vote on the right side of aisle...... do you agree with this?

When you cast your vote...don't be a hypocrite.
"While court records show that Jackson did impose lighter sentences than federal guidelines suggested, Hawley's insinuation neglects critical context, including the fact that the senator himself has voted to confirm at least three federal judges who also engaged in the same practice."

Not a Republican, will respect not voting on this one, but MTG is just another clown devolving the Republican Party further into primate territory. And that might be insulting to primates.

No, it’s something that a bomb thrower would say. Someone like MTG.
MTG is a performance artist. Doesn't really about policies or human decency. Murkowski, Collins, and Romney are under the impression that Presidents get to pick the SCOTUS nominees they want. Ideology is secondary. KBJ and I have differences on politics, but I don't doubt her intelligence or qualifications to look at laws fairly

Other.

It's part of the professional world of political wrestling.

Read you poll question and read your poll options.

This is ridiculous.

Do i agree with the plain meaning of it? No.

I do think they are very politicians who kowtow to whatever narrative is on CNN, and unfortunately, that means they'd vote for someone who is super lenient on pedophiles, just because they're afraid of Brian Stelter calling them racists.

but just straight-up pro-pedophile? I don't think that. They're just weak, and that's its own set of problems.

There were 53 votes for KBJ, but she only lists the 3 Republicans? She's ignoring that there are 50 others to label pro-pedophile.

I don't think the new SCOTUS pick is the best option, but I am not concerned about her appointment. I recognize she is simply replacing another "Leftist" Associate Justice who voluntarily resigned just to ensure he would be replaced by someone with views similar to his own.

I also don't believe the three Republican Senators who voted for her are pro-pedophile. I think they are RINO's as has been proven by their past voting history.

Full disclosure, I am not a registered Republican, I am an Independent voter. However, I did vote for Trump both past elections, and I intend to vote for the Republican candidates in the upcoming election, and in the 2024 Elections.

The current crop of Democrat leaders and activists are a nightmare.

The question was posed to Republicans. I've been a registered Republican all my adult like. If @Josie wanted people who never, ever in their lives would consider voting for a non-Republican, then I humbly apologize for the misunderstanding.

IMHO, Jackson (as do many on the left) likely favors giving very lenient sentences, but based on the ’questioning’ during her SCOTUS appointment it may have appeared that Jackson did so mainly (or only?) in child pornography cases. MTG is a mental midget, so few (in either party) are likely to agree with her tweet’s assertion.

@Gateman_Wen - you're a Republican or usually vote on the right?

So did you vote for Trump?
Neither time.

2016 I was waging a campaign for a binding "none of the above" choice.

I'll admit to playing it safe for 2020 and voting Biden.

I did vote for some local republicans both times though.

Ahhh... so you're not always about creating commotion.

Just curious -- if you're an anarchist, why vote at all?

I am a moderate, but I usually waste my vote here in California by voting a straight Republican ticket.

The Republican Party in this state is for all intents and purposes dead.

Of course, I do NOT agree with that woman's comment -- whoever she is! (From what I have read about her at the two political forums of which I am a member, she is a disgrace to the Republican Party. It is sad that people would vote for an individual like her.)

In some ‘safe’ districts (thanks to gerrymandering and straight ticket voting) anyone can win (in the general election) if they have the ‘correct’ party label attached.

Because I'm not the fence sitting type.
