Republican Scott wins Florida U.S. Senate seat after manual recount

Sorry. Upon second look at your avatar, I understand better. Quite honestly, on my tablet I couldn't easily tell what it was. I now see that you are seemingly conservative, and understand your call to stop to name calling to be from your sense of fair play. And, as a fellow Floridian, I congratulate you on your choice of Governor and Senator!!!
I apologize for the misunderstanding.
Regards,
CP

Apology accepted and thanks.

Wet-from-Sweat Robio Rubio becomes Florida's Sr. Senator. RickTheDick becomes Florida's Jr. Senator. Ron "No Monkey" Desantis takes over the Florida Governor's Mansion. The GOP continues it's dominance in the Florida Legislature. Florida sends 27 Representatives, more GOPs than DEMs, to the United States House of Representatives. Chump took 58 out of 67 counties in the 2016 General Election.

Chump Slurper and Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has already ordered an investigation into Election Fraud. Chump has reportedly put Bondi on his Short List of nominees as U.S. Attorney General. GOPPER Ashley Moody swears in as Florida's new Attorney General in February.

Only one DEM, Nikki Fried, won a Florida Cabinet seat. She replaces Adam Putman as Agriculture Secretary.

All in all, I say the GOPPERS did really well in Florida! Congratulations to those of you who voted and/or supported RickTheDick! I can honestly say I voted for him, only once... in his first General Election, 2010, for Governor.

Smile with me! I still Love Florida!

Geez. It is unfortunate that you drag up stale accusations against SEN. Scott. I am sorry for you that you don't like our Senator, but at least he isn't a Socialist or far left Democrat - you're welcome.

CP

Stale accusations, the truth. Did he not start and run a company that bilked the government out of over a billion dollars. Did he not fail to cooperate with the FBI. Did he not walk away with millions of dollars, over 10 million, and still not spend any time in jail. Where am I wrong? I am not wrong and through this all I wonder why when he was CEO when the bilking took place. And then why would you vote for someone like Him? Says more about you than me

I have no doubt the first day on the job the new Governor DeSantis is going to investigate the incompetence, the surprising number of last minute votes for Democrat candidates and there will be a cleaning of houses before 2020. There are currently multiple fraud investigations ongoing.

I also read in Arizona the Republican party is checking into auditing certain counties that produced massive number of Democratic votes for Sinema? after election day. And I also look to see the Republicans do the very same thing in Orange County California that went completely blue after several Republicans were ahead on election night. These investigations need to occur and if any fraud is revealed, it needs to be exposed.

The US Attorneys in both of those federal districts are GOP appointees so they should have a free hand in conducting an investigation of those irregularities.

You write a complete diatribe, then write all I can say....I still love Florida too. I am grateful to all who rejected the do nothing previous senior Senator and the Florida version of socialism in the form of Gillum. That being written, I am no fan of Senator Rubio. I vote for who will best represent Florida in Washington. If the Democrats ever stop playing as Leninist-lite stooges, I will vote for them to truly represent Florida.

people in Florida with criminal convictions lost the right to vote ....... and now that has been corrected and will change restoring a very large number of voters to the rolls.

Yes, we should IGNORE THE LAW to accommodate the Crime-o-crats fellow criminals.

As always, the Fraudocrats views election law(s) as just "suggestions"....

This problem was just corrected and in the next election a very large number of citizens will be restored to the rolls.

At least you admit that the dead and illegal voters vote Fraudocrat...

That makes no sense as I said no such thing. You are making crap up and that is intellectually fraudulent.

I can' say he started it, maybe he did. The facts are, he was never convicted of crime, that I know of. It's true he was the Captain of the ship, but there is nothing I know of that held him personally responsible.
How much he walked away with is just a representation of the grotesque salaries paid CEO's in this day. There is a problem that needs to be corrected!

Congratulations on your sense of victory! As a 62 year old male born and raised in Florida, a UF alum, son of a UF alum, former husband of a UF alum, brother of a UCF alum, father of four daughters all born in Florida, I have felt the impact of political change in Florida. My life station probably gave me advantages not afforded by most Floridians. I truly Love Florida!

That written, I know first-hand more than a bit about racism in Florida. Florida only has one in 67 counties majority black, Gadsden County. Brooksville in Hernando County took it's name from famous South Carolina Segregationist Preston Brooks. Rep. Brooks, in 1856, used his cane to nearly beat a Massachusetts Senator to death in the Old Senate Gallery. That incident made Rep. Brooks a hero in the South.

The narrow margins in the Senate and Governor races bode well for a better future! Let us embrace Grace, Honor, Humor and Love... with Love reigning Supreme! Peace to you and yours!

The Fraudocrats' attempted multiple election theft in Florida HAS FAILED. Ready for RBG's inevitable retirement, and other upcoming appointments....and a sufficient ROAD BLOCK for any of the Lie-o-crats' scams....

Republican Scott wins Florida U.S. Senate seat after manual recount

Reuters) - Florida's outgoing governor, Republican Rick Scott, was declared the winner of the state's hard-fought U.S. Senate race on Sunday, following a manual recount of ballots in the tight contest against three-term Democratic incumbent Bill Nelson.

In the recount of the Nov. 6 election, Scott won by 10,033 votes out of 8.19 million cast statewide, Florida elections officials said on Sunday. Scott took 50.05 percent, compared with 49.93 percent for Nelson, the officials added.

Nelson, first elected to the Senate in 2000, became the latest incumbent Democratic senator toppled in the midterm congressional election in which President Donald Trump's fellow Republicans expanded their majority in the Senate but lost control of the House of Representatives.

Other incumbent Democratic senators defeated in the election include Joe Donnelly in Indiana, Heidi Heitkamp in North Dakota and Claire McCaskill in Missouri.

WOW. Scott won in a landslide. Isn't this what trump and the deplorables are gonna spew? Seriously a strong economy, low unemployment and a normally safe republican state and he won with 50.5% of the vote. So much winning.

Wow. IN addition to all the other bull****, you now claim to have personal knowledge of the Grand Buffoon's finances.

Will he being paying HIS OWN PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT SETTLEMENT(s) THIS TIME AROUND? I mean, since you're so "IN" on his personal business and all... :lamo

You're broken.

Not plausible to call it "a normally safe Republican state" when he unseated a Democratic incumbent.

I admire your background. I can't claim that pedigree. My mother didn't finish High School. I went as far in college as I could afford while raising a family, but was judicious in choosing my course study. I am proud to say all three of my children have their degrees, and my son a masters.
Most of that credit is due my wife.
I am a fourth generation Floridian and I bristle at the idea that Florida is by any stretch racist. There are racists in Florida, but Florida isn't. In my life's experience, Florida is more like you. Embracing and forgiving. God, please let it stay so!
I appreciate your kind reply, and would have recognized the Florida Sunshine in you, even if you hadn't said so.:2razz:

Many Grins! 4th Generation gives you claim to deep Florida roots. My parents moved to Pinellas County in 1973.... and spent more than 30 years living directly on the gulf in Indian Shores. My mom would have turned 90 last week. My dad now lives in Seminole. I just arrived at my dad's a few minutes ago from Longboat Key in Sarasota County. My dad has a dentist appointment in the morning.

My oldest daughter just turned 29 this month. UF accepted her. She snubbed it for GA Tech... undergrad and grad Civil Engineering. She and her husband live in Alexandria VA. My next daughter, age 25, went to UF. My two youngest have not reached high school.

Viva Florida! May our Best Times lie ahead!

Viva Florida! May our Best Times lie ahead! Certainly yes! God bless and best wishes for you and your family, my friend.

Most Floridians ostensibly won't have to pay next months water bill, the liberal tears are that deep in the state. Of course, they may need to utilize their local desalinization plants.

And... need to be careful, the state isnt that high above sea level. Could be flash floods in high urban intensities/high urban anti-fa in tent cities.

All these felons are Democrat?

You're broken.

As always, you remain utterly INCAPABLE OF EVEN ADDRESSING the POINT(s) of the THREAD, ( much less refuting them..AS IF.. ) and are reduced to DRIVEBY AD HOMS....hilariously predictable.

I have no idea... but they were denied the vote. Thankfully, that will be rectified next time.

Yes, we need paroled murderers and rapists determining our leaders….
