Although they are horrible at running the country, the current Republican regime is excellent at marketing catchphrases. Its sad though because as it the case in consumer marketing, catchphrases appeal to the lowest level of intelligence to sell their product. Bush and Rove/Cheney et al have cheapened the office of the President by appealing to people with limited attention spans and engaging in this type of marketing.
As anyone in marketing will tell you, if you find a good catchphrase and repeat it over and over, there are certain people that will buy anything.

Post your Republican Catchphrases.

Here are just a few:

Cut and Run (their latest - notice how Bush and his supporters love to sell Rumsfields war with this one)

Flip-Flop - (Created to denegrade John Kerry - However, the label could easily apply to Bush and many others as well)

Shock and Awe - (Wow...that was a good one. Just like marketing a good Action Flick)

Adapt to Win - (Right out of a motivational speaker manual)

Here's some more:
  • Stay the coarse
  • Support the troops
  • Fight'em over there, instead of here
  • War on Terror
None of these have any definitive meaning. There all buzzwords designed to communicate with stupid Americans that think their news comes from TV.
