I can attest from first hand experience that the homeless pop in that area is a growing problem. The areas under bridges on I-5 in the center city area are massively over run by homeless camps. It's interesting to note that the politics of that area are bright blue but now they turn to a Republican to fix the problems the Democrats have created. Perhaps more of this happening in the mid-term elections will now get a little traction.
