Republican Gov. John Kasich to speak at DNC

A list of RINOs. Anyone of them could have supported one of the other candidates if it was a matter of principle. The swamp is alive and well.
No. They had no choice but to vote for biden. Third party would only ensure a trump victory like in 2016.

Did any of them campaign for the other candidates running against Trump? And I disagree with you. A third party doesn’t give it to Trump. It would only improve Biden’s chances because Biden’s supporters will still vote for their man while Trump lost support.

perhaps because Biden is a moderate and a protest vote...some of us want our party back...the one these idiots ran over and destroyed.

The RINOS are Trumplicans, not real Republicans....Trump has never been a Republican and never will be and his screed of miscontents aren't Republican either.
What makes a Republican a Republican? What makes a Democrat a Democrat? Ideology. If you vote for someone who doesn’t share your ideology then you’re only a member of the opposing party in name only. RINOs.

if you vote for the opposing candidate because the idiot that has sat in the spot with an R behind his name is not an R the quickest way to get him the hell out is voting for the opposite candidate.

sorry, sometimes you have to take extreme measures to take your party back...the Nazis, authoritarians and scum that are in charge need to be shown the nearest jail cell...they aren't Republicans...never have been...they played on your fears to make you think they were and that everyone else was the enemy.

How do you take your party back by voting for the opposing party? Those that vote for Trump are primarily Republicans. Some independents. So these RINOs are voting against their party.

I disagree. Virtually all stein votes would have gone to clinton during 2016 and a majority of johnson votes as well. But hey that's what happens if you don't do the right thing just to not be a rino.

The lines are blurred with trump. Trump is not strongly pro life and is pro gay marraige. So he is moderate to liberal on social issues. On fiscal issues he is a socialist. Paying people 600 bucks to sit their ass at home and increasing the deficit to $4 trillion. So what is attractive about donald trump to the GOP. His racism? His anti immigrant positions? His puss-e foreign policy? I am not sure.

But what if you believe your party is hijacked by extremists and the only reasonable way to get it back is to vote for the other guy? I guarantee you none of these "Rinos" will support a biden second term. They just want to get trump out.

Jill Stein disagrees with you.

Buyer beware. You may end up shooting yourself in the foot by voting for the opposing party. Let’s look at one issue. Abortions. Do you think Romney is opposed to it? Would he have voted for a Democrat back before Roe vs Wade? I think not. Republicans opposed abortions then and they oppose it now. A vote for Biden is a vote for abortions. It’s ideology that defines you.

not all Republicans oppose abortions....Trump does not oppose abortions as much as you want to believe he does..he also does not follow the 10 commandments.

If you don't support the major principles of your party then you aren't really a believer and therefore not really a republican. Pro Life is a very basic principle of the republican party.

so then only about 20% of this country fit your narrative....you might want to figure out what you are going to do...

True Clara not all do “oppose” it but you failed to address my point and example.

This is the official position on abortion.

And Trump is on record of opposing it.

When it comes to Romney here:

It’s stated “During the fiercely conservative Republican primary last year, Romney expanded that view to include cutting all federal funding for Planned Parenthood, reversing Roe v. Wade "because it is bad law and bad medicine," and ending funding for any international aid program that "promotes or performs abortions on women around the world."

The majority of Republicans oppose abortion, thus making it part of its platform. That issue is one of the reasons why there is fierce debate over the SC.

I stand by my statement that those you listed are RINOs. The evidence shows it. Not everything Trump stands for is in line with Republican ideology but the things he’s promised and implemented has been or he wouldn’t have the vast support of the Republican base. Nor most of those closer to the middle. These RINOs are on the fringe. Might as well switch party affiliation. I would have more respect for them if they did.

Actually.. thats exactly how you take back your party. Trump does not represent republican ideology. Or at least historically republican ideology.

What trump represents is.. power., Thats it. Most real republicans in the party.. have been marginalized.. like Romney.. or have retired or lost to democrats. Because Trump is the reigning power in the republican party and the party has kowtowed to him. Not because of ideology. Crap... they keep falling all over themselves trying to justify trump to fellow republicans.

Trump has power because he is in power. When Trump is out.. and hopefully by a landslide. Suddenly it will become proof to most of the party.. that the Trumpers.. well lost.

When trump is out.. the power will shift.. and republicans will be "how do we get the power back"...and those of us in the party that were marginalized because we weren;t willing to throw conservative values to the wind.. will be able to say "here is how we win again... because the compassionate conservative message WORKS".

Do you have Romney (and Kascich) on speed dial? Have you paid your dues to the “Never Trump” organization?

I’ll remind you that the majority of Trump supporters are Republicans. Or do you believe, like Hillary, that they are deplorable?

Actually its not. 55% of republicans believe that abortion should be legal under certain conditions.. and 12 percent believe it should be legal under any conditions.
In other works 67% believe abortion should be available at least in some form.

Actually I worked on Romney presidential campaign and met the man. . And yes.. I have sent money to the Lincoln project.

And yes.. the majority of Trump supporters identify as "republicans". Yet they support a man whose policies they would have .. (and HAVE).. vehemently disagreed with.. if Trump had a D behind his name.

Yes unfortunately.. a number of these individuals are deplorable. Since Reagan, the republican party has been flirting with those who have racist views.. and been courting them with veiled messaging.. at first in an effort to win back the south. Now currently.. the racist faction has been openly courted by Trump and the racists among the party now feel free to act and speak more openly.

May I suggest you develop a distinct new party and go with it. You sound more like a Democrat but that party is already taken and clearly you’ve done left the reservation.

That would be stupid. First.. the republican party has represented me pretty well since the 80's. Certainly more so than any other party.
Second.. the nation basically has a two party system. Name the number of third party candidates that have won the presidency.. or a Congressional seat in the last 30 years.
Third.. lets think about your rationale. The republican party has been representing me pretty darn well since the 1980's. Until 2016. so 36 years of representation... but according to you.. its not that 36 years that represents the party.. (or the 36 years before THAT)... its only the 4years that Trump has been president?
So being a republicans for 36years... fails..in comparison to 4 years?

Please.
