Republican Cruz taps Fiorina as No. 2 in bid to revive presidential prospects

Perhaps the majority of Republicans are upset at Washington because instead of actually bringing around change, they just don't do anything as an act of protest(Cruz). Perhaps they are looking to someone who actually gets things done and can bring people together(Trump). I think your idea that the majority of this silent majority in the Republican party is only looking for anti-Establishment candidates is rather short sighted. Most people are looking to nominate someone that will actually do something. Ted Cruz and his ilk do nothing but collect checks while reading children's books, completely ignoring what is job is.

And yet he is drifting downward on the latest poll.

I'm guessing it's the anchor formerly known as Candidate Fiorina!

That link was horrible and spammy. Crashed my phone with ads and redirects.

But I saw the poll, and it's a complete outlier- no other poll has Cruz in the lead, much less by 16 points!

But I guess fantasy is a nice place to live, considering a win would get him precisely no closer to the nomination.

More about that outlier poll:

"The poll was conducted over two weeks and was already in the field nearly a week before Trump’s landslide in New York, never mind the five-state sweep he pulled off a few days ago. And it missed the Pence endorsement, of course, and barely included the Fiorina pick. There’s no reason to believe that this, rather than the various polls showing Trump up by mid- to high single digits, is the more accurate reflection of how things stand in Indiana."

Oh my: Cruz 45, Trump 29, Kasich 13 in Indiana? « Hot Air

Clearly, you don't understand what he was doing. Unless the point you are making is that any change at all is good, just as long as there is change. So, if conservatives want to limit the size of government and debt, they should just vote for bills that do the opposite, because it is some kind change, even though it is for the worst.
So, I'm sure you were upset with Obama for not signing a bill that repealed Obamacare, because that would be change and he should be for that kind of thing.

That is very simple minded thinking. I can't imagine what kind of people would think that way.

So you must be anti-choice, think that global warming is "a hoax," think that the richest of the rich need huge, budget-busting tax cuts while enlarging the military (while balancing the budget!!! no really!!! It will balance!!! Trust 'em!!!), regulating Wall Street less, not more, think that all our problems will be solved by discriminating against gays, immigrants, and Muslims, and --this is amazing--believe the United States should return to the gold standard.

Do I have that right?

Tell me how this has any merit when it has literally nothing to do with the job you are employed to do. This rat faced, troll looking scum has no reason to hold his position any longer, let alone the Presidency of the United States.

Merit? Um... it's a filibuster... you do know what that is, don't you?
It sounds like you need to check Cruz's resume, or you wouldn't be making such ignorant statements about his qualifications. Try to get something right.

This isn't a filibuster. It is a complete and utter waste of taxpayer's funds. This has nothing to do with the issue at hand.

Can anyone explain Fiorinas bizarre song?

They were talking about 'all the time they were spending on the campaign bus' with Cruz' daughters, but she made the speech less than 48 hours after arriving in Indiana, and this was her first campaign appearance ever.

Do you know what he was doing? Kind of ironic that you would say he is wasting taxpayer's funds.

Your gonna love the current 538 polls-plus prediction:

"According to our latest polls-plus forecast, Donald Trump has a 69% chance of winning the Indiana"

Of course, the polls-only prediction gives him a 94% chance of winning now.

Looks like Trump is primed to roll the next batch of states!
