Why would Democrats do that when they could safely ignore the other country's requests for charity? Blue states are the economic powerhouse of the country. Anything red states produce can be imported.
Red states are the takers, siphoning off vast sums of cash from blue states via federal tax and spend, and only thus being able to maintain those low-tax schemes that, you boast, attract companies away from blue states. Form a separate nation with red states and you'd have a real "shithole country." Some areas of it would limp along on mineral resources, but then some of them (esp. fossil fuels) are already on the decline. There would be no need for Bluemerica to declare war on Redmerica. We could just put in ear plugs and let you fail.

The Democrat country will provoke war on ANY other country that isn't as strong as them. You know...just like Obama provoked a war in Libya.
