The GOP is cracking at the seams, and is ready to explode. Now it looks like Tom Reynolds may be about to lose his job as the leader of the National Republican Congressional Campaign. A lot of fingers are now pointing his way, and of course, like a good Republican, he is pointing back at other Republicans, but I dont think that is going to save his job.

Sit back and watch the GOP cannibalize itself.

Mmm, tastes like chicken.

P.S., I love that the source for the article is NewsMax, it's like a savory sauce being poured over it all.

While those on the left are always complaining that Newmax is extremist right, and those on the right are always complaining that Truthout is extremist left, I have found that there is some good reporting to be found amongst the bad reporting of both sites. You just have to dig for it, and mine the good from the bad.

One thing I will say - You will never hear the Bushneviks say that Newsmax is full of BS. Most of them swear that everything there is the gospel truth. Do you hear them complaining in this thread about biased reporting from Newsmax? Pretty much crickets from them right now. Why? Because Newsmax is right.... ummmm.... I mean correct. LOL.

Restaurant patron: What is this weird tasting stuff?

Waiter: Chicken.

You are right Dan, they do attack their own, it's called leadership. Now I know they should handle it like the Dems do, censure, then give a standing O, then elect him to a high Chair for his efforts, but they don't, they point fingers, shame on them.

These Rep. just can't win for losing, they are told to expell bad seeds, then when they do, are told they are just trying to save an election......gotta love Washington!:doh

I cant speak for the Dems, bud. I dont agree with them or their tactics, but how is dredging up what they did more than 30 years ago going to help the Republicans in the here and now? This smacks of desperation. IMHO, if the GOP had just come out and cleaned house over the incident, while accepting the responsibility for what happened, and also showing some genuine outrage (which they havent done), their chances for retaining both the House and Senate would be fairly decent. Now it looks like they may lose both. Talk about a political party shooting itself in the foot.

It is imperative that we discuss the past, or hence this scandal, we are doomed to repeat it. Don't you think the way that case was handled, sent a message to the likes of Foley? It said, you can have sex with a page, and you will be given a censure, then a standing O, and then a high Chairmanship!

I want the Rep. to lose, I am worried about the future of our House and Senate!
