Rep. Nancy Mace kicks off South Carolina GOP gubernatorial bid. She says she's 'Trump in high heels'​

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina is running for governor, entering a GOP primary in which competition for President Donald Trump's endorsement — and the backing of his base of supporters — is expected to be fierce.

Mace, who last year won her third term representing South Carolina’s 1st District, made her run official during a launch event Monday at The Citadel military college in Charleston. She plans to start a statewide series of town halls later this week with an event in Myrtle Beach.

This trash bag needs to be removed from politics.

She is another diseased MAGA moron.

 
Given the Senator quality in SC, Mace is probably a shoo-in!
 
South Carolina is so Republican that Nancy Mace may not be MAGA enough to pull off the primary, something like 60% of the vote went Trump in 2024, but odds are she'll get some support from Trump and face whoever from the Democratic side.

Only one of their US House seats is held by a Democrat, the other 6 are Republicans as is both Senators. Graham and Scott.

Think Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas after being Trump's Press Secretary, she got like 63% of the vote to win in 2022.

If Mace takes the primary, I'd place a way too early over/under at something like 64% of the vote in the general.
 
The Confederates are in power, because, God forbid, Latinos outnumber whites one day. Confederate whitey loves corrupted power and se iron fist.
 
She's crazier than Trump.
 
Im not going to look for the link, but watching her try to justify supporting Trump while complaining about how other mens treat her is one of the most pathetic showings from a politician I’ve seen on TV.
