Rep. Alexander says pages are receiving threats (1 Viewer)

Rodney Alexander, the Republican who sponsored the boy that Foley was attempting to have sex with, has stated, just a little while ago, that pages are being threatened not to give out details of their own contacts.

1) While people are focusing on Republicans in the Foley scandal, do not forget that Alexander IS a Republican, and is doing everything in his power to stop the harrassment.

2) Do not forget, also, that before this is over, we may very well find a significant number of Democrats involved in the scandal, as well as a significant number of Republicans. When Democrat names come up, I hope to hell there is just as much of an outrage as there is with Foley. This crap cannot continue. It is time to clean house.

3) Finally, whoever is threatening the pages should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. However, it would be nice if someone just took him out back of the Capitol building and shot the bastard. How freaking dare he.

Agreed completely, especially points 2 and 3. Predatory behavior must end, and I'm cheering for Alexander.

"The media has been aggressively seeking his conversation at school, his home and that's the most disturbing thing."

The threats need to be stopped but the reporters are showing him and his family the same disrespect they show everyone else.

The FBI has just gotten involved, and they are saying that it is a group of bloggers making the threats. They say that it isnt death threats, but its pretty close to that.
