It begs the question: why are the Democrats so afraid to let the ballot box decide?

It begs the question: why are the Democrats so afraid to let the ballot box decide?

Because if the precedent is set, it’s going to be a problem for all of us in the future, including you. You may just be too blinded by shortsighted interests to know it now. But next time there’s a Democratic president who does this, and you want to impeach, you will be able to and will thank us.

But this is not unlike most GOP policies: too blinded by shortsighted interests and greed to think about the long-term or have any vision for it. This explains everything from imprudent tax cuts to denial of climate change science. The GOP has like a drunken sailor who never thinks about the hangover and STD he is going to have to deal with the next morning.

Because if you believe the man represents a threat to the Republic and committed an offense worthy of impeachment you have a duty to impeach him.

When the GOP'ers regain control of the House, they need to bring San Fran Nan up on abuse of power charges and A. Pencil Neck Schitt on corruption. We need some Ethics Committee hearings and censure.

That's a pretty sounding excuse, but it doesn't hold water. It sure as hell isn't the real reason for trying to impeach him.

You asked. I answered.

Since impeachment is politically perilous to some democrats and since we’re so close to the election they have every incentive to wait.

Fun to watch someone bray about that and then fail each and every time they're challenged to provide any instances of either abuse of power or corruption on either party's part.

You should really consider not making claims that you're forced to run from.

You have it backwards. The bar on impeachment is so low, now, a president can be impeached for literally anything and the same bottomless standard will be applied to a Democrat president and you're going to lose your ****.

some of us have the answer!

they know they are up against a very popular president who has actually DONE things to make the country better

whereas the Ds

what have they done?

well, they tried to impeach the president! Wow... that's a very beneficial thing, long-term-wise... sure to boost the economy into the stratosphere... I am sure the Dow will hit 29,000 soon (actually the Dow went up in the middle of impeachment hearings.. amazing..)

the Left probably believe impeachment is a beneficial thing, though--politically

the Left only care about politics

(only passed USMCA because they didn't want to APPEAR to be overly-political)... roll eyes..

Now that the mentally-deranged Pelosi has established the precendent, when the Republicans next control the House the next Democrat President is certain to be impeached simply for the high crime of being elected Democrat.

The Democrats have outlawed executive priviledge, so impeaching the next Democrat will be a breeze.

Yeah, how's that Hillary "Lock her up!" plan working out for ya? I would suggest of all of Trump's failures, that has got to be the most annoying one of all. Trump didn't even try. Wouldn't you agree?

And guess what? When the GOP removes a Democrat president via impeachment, their successor will be -- wait for it -- another Democrat! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Dems are not afraid to let the ballot box decide. They are rightfully concerned that Trumpkin won't let the ballot box decide. He has cheated and will cheat again both encouraging and entertaining aid from adversarial nation states or coercing it out of allied nation states AGAIN!

I like Rome's solution to this problem.

Wrong again...what Trump has been Impeached for is a long way from nothing.

I can't wait to impeach the next dem president, this is what happens when you far left lunatics refuse to accept the 2016 election results.

No, this is what happens when Republicans allow their party to be overrun with grifters and liars so as to attract more votes from the stupid.
