In Memoriam . . .

Non Sequitur

It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended.
This is in memory of the six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned, starved and humiliated with the German and Russia peoples looking the other way!

Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others, claiming the Holocaust to be "a myth," it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets.

I wholeheartedly agree. I still catch glimpses of camp tattoos on forearms, but the number dwindles as time marches inexorably on.

You actually don't have to go to great lengths to encounter Holocaust deniers and historical revisionists, as they posit their twisted agenda right here at Debate Politics.

ThankQ for your remembrance David and... a cordial welcome to DP.

Friend of mine I worked with back in the 80's was in the Auschwitz work camp for 4.5 years. He showed me his tatoo. Horrible to see, when I thought about what it meant.

Thanks for the sentiments, David. :2wave:

not to mention the war dead. On all sides.
