So he thinks that by repaying the money he can weasel his way out of breaking the law.

He MUST not be permitted to break the law.

It would be similar to a Bank Robber telling the Cop who caught him, I shall repay the money I stole.
There is absolutely no difference.

Charge this dishonest and Corrupt Politician.
Get him out of office, teach the bum a lesson, a lesson that may eventually percolate throughout the ranks of these professional Liars and corrupt Politicians.

Well I can vouch that you do indeed post stories against anyone who is corrupt. Also I'm in complete agreement. The laws are written by the politicians for the politicians.
That said, first I need more on this matter - as if the land deal was not fishey enough.
The lesson need be taught not that, if you get got you're going to burn, but that you should never even try to take advantage. All these politicians do is public dis-service; whilst lining thier own pockets.
We've become a society obssessed with only winning that it doesn't matter of the means used for the ends, it's all dirty politics, and dirty money. Sadly the majority of America never seems to see through all this dirt. It's pathetic, this is not how to lead a world.
