If republicans keep voting down defense bills we will know why.

FOXNews.com - Reid Adding Amnesty Measure to Defense Bill
WASHINGTON -- U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Tuesday he wants to attach an amendment to a defense policy bill that would help young people in the United States illegally become legal U.S. residents.

The Nevada Democrat said at a Capitol news conference that the legislation known as the DREAM Act is long overdue. He would not say whether he has the votes for the amendment. The act would allow young people who attend college or join the military to become legal U.S. residents.

The young people must have come to the country when they were under 16 years of age and have been in the country five years. Those who join the military must serve at least two years and complete two years of college.

Democrats have also promised gay rights groups an end to the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell Policy" that bars gays from serving openly in the military. That is in the bill that Reid said he will try to take up next week.

Republicans oppose both measures.

Prince Harry appears to be fishing for votes among the illegals (aka, undocumented Democrats).

Absolutely! More desperate blatant hispandering for latino votes just before the Nov election by Harry who's trailing in the polls. "Hey, that harry shore ez keesing our azzes, no?" "We shore better vote for heem, no?"

The term hispandering made me laugh.

The term hispandering in a illegal immigration debate implies that the only Americans of Hispanic decent who vote are pro-illegals or that all Americans of Hispanic decent are pro-illegals. Many Americans of Hispanic decent are against illegal immigration just like me or you.

The DREAM act ain't too bad, as it encourages the best and brightest of the illegals to contribute to society in return for permanent residency, but attaching it to a defence bill is just petty, it should stand on its own merits.

The statistics show that blatantly hispandered to latinos vote for blatantly hispandering democratic politicians by a two out of every three margin. So it's safe to assume that marxist/amnesty democratic politicians like harry will continue to blatantly hispander to blatantly hispanderable tribally ethnocentric latinos who vote for whomever promises them the most.

Actually these so called best and brightest of the illegals need to be back in mexico contributing to mexican society. Passing the dream act will only cause a new wave of unwanted uninvited illegal border jumpers with children breaking in who know that eventually the dims will someday get them legalized for votes. In a sane world harry's attaching the dream act to a defense bill should really insure his DEFEAT in the Nov elections.

Reid is not just pandering to Hispanics who support illegal immigration, he is pandering to everyone who supports illegal immigration. When it comes to tossing the salad of pro-illegals for votes his tongue is just as deep in the ass of a white, black, asain pro-illegals as latino pro-illegals.

It's amnesty for criminals who should be sent back to their real homes.

If the children of the criminal illegal aliens who brought them here have a problem with this, they can discuss it on the bus to TJ.

And yes, the MINUTE they turn eighteen and are consided adult by the law, they are in voluntary violation of immigration laws unless they self-deport or turn themselves in to ICE for deportation. That makes them criminals.

Bye Harry! On to the Teapartynation 2010 november.

Amnesty would be them getting citizenship with no work involved - I hardly call being trained and sent to the front lines to possibly die for the country you want to be a citizen in, and working there for X number of years, "amnesty."

Well, hopefully Angle uses this, if she's smart...

You do realize that a lot of jobs in the military are not combat MOSs? There is the fact that walking into a government facility without getting arrested should be the last thing an illegal should be allowed considering the fact the government is supposed to be apprehending and deporting illegals, not giving them jobs.

We need diversity in America. And besides, it's usually the down trotten and poor in Mexico that become illegal immigrants. Many of the best and brightest stay in Mexico. I don't think that passing the DREAM act will encourage more illegals. They will come for better opportunities, DREAM act or not. The children are innocent, are deserve a break.

The children are innocent, and until they turn eitherteen, they will remain so. And have a heart for these poor, innocent kids.

We already have too much balkanizing diversity in America. What we don't need is to import more poverty stricken dumbazzes from the dregs of mexican society, and, actually, almost all of the best and brightest stayed in mexico. If you actually don't think that the DREAM act would encourage more illegals, then you obviously have some stake in the passing of the DREAM act. As far as I am concerned the "innocent" illegal children (up to 35? years old) are mexican nationals and need to be deported with their illegal parents back to old mexico. Their "break" is a lovely bus trip to TJ. But it seems that the DREAM act is dead anyway. In all fairness, you should vote for any and all of the blatantly hispandering marxist/socialist amnesty democratic politicians who are kissing your azz for your vote though. That way, when the Republicans at least take back the House, maybe the Senate, they won't owe ANY favors to the latinos who mostly voted for the marxist/socialist amnesty democrats.

It sounds like a good idea..........until I learned ......

Memos have been leaked from Homeland Security. They are discussing ways to backdoor even more illegals if the Dream Act passes.
They are talking about not deporting illegals who might eventually fall under the provisions of the Dream Act.

You're pretty transparent. So what do you want? To be an activist immigration lawyer and work for La Racist? Maybe the ACLU or SPLC? Your "innocent kids" are very deportable as are their unwanted uninvited border jumping illegal parents. Americans are starting to take back America and people who don't have a right to be here soon won't.

I would rather be a bleeding heart liberal than an intolerant racist like you seem to be.

Do you really want to waste all the money that we already spent educating these innocent children by deporting them? It was not the children's decision to come here, they are innocent pawns. Why punishment the children for the sins of the parents?

- Why not deport them? Maybe they could put their education to use and help the "poor" country their parents came from so less would be inclined to enter illegally.

- So what is your solution to the illegal problem? We tried once making them citizens, Didn't stop more from coming in illegally.
