In hindsight, it is clear that Reagan was very Foresighted!

Question for Debate:

Will the reality of the destructive policies and actions of Obama place him as the worst President in American History?

Or will the Lefties manage to spin, spin, spin, until History records Obama as a beneficial President?

(Bonus question: Beneficial to WHO?! Americans? Select Races of Americans? Foreigners? Muslim Brotherhood? )

Obama will easily go down in history as a top 15 president of all time.

Consider the fact that he was handed a terrible economy and yet did not flounder like Jimmy Carter or Herbert Hoover, but instead oversaw the reversal of economic fortunes like Reagan and FDR. Consider that he has diplomatic achievements like the first overhaul of the healthcare industry in 40 years and overseeing a massive improvement to LGBT rights. Consider that he has international achievements like a re-establishment of diplomatic relations with Cuba and the first agreement with Iran in 40 years.

But you go on believing that Obama has destroyed America.

I think Ronald Reagan gave us enough of a lesson on debt with his own tenure. Instead of his words we can just look at his actions. Much better measure of the man than his mouth.

As far as the rest of his claptrap... It's always a good reminder that wetting their pants in constant hyperbolistic fear isn't just a new fad for the GOP.

As I see it, the "legacy" of Barack Obama will probably go down in history as rather more positive than the "legacy" of Ronald Reagan.

So figure out where you would rate the legacy of Ronald Reagan...and look above it.

Reagan was a great resident. Possible the greatest of the second half of the century.

But, please conservatives, he's not a God. He didn't foresee anything, he made an impassioned speech on economics which has been argued and debated to death for decades. The little clip is designed to do one thing..get your blood boiling. It serves no other purpose than to press the same old dated ideas.

Reagan's administration ended twenty years ago. China was not a power economy, America had not experienced a major terrorist attack and "commies" were still the big bad enemy. There were few computers in people's homes, and a lot fewer in the work place, only drug dealers had cell phones.

The world was much different...and guess what? There's no going back. The "heady, halcyon" [as if they were] days of the Reagan administration aren't comming back

Yeah, yeah. Obama takes over when the economy's losing 800K jobs per month...and now we've had 70-plus consecutive months of positive private-sector job growth - BY FAR the longest such stretch in ALL American history...

...but Obama's the worst president in history. Mm-hmm. Methinks SNL's Church Lady would have a field day with the author of this OP....

Anyone should have been able to see the dangers of electing a person inexperienced in almost every important aspect requiring experience in a President. And now we are set to do it again.
