The US claims it has found a way to make sure the arms it sends to the rebels in Syria won't fall into the wrong hands. This comes after leaked reports from the CIA that it's about to start funneling heavy weapons to rebel fighters. But as Gayane Chichakyan reports, there's concern within the U.S. political establishment that extremist groups could be the ones to benefit.

Good luck actually keeping these weapons with who they are "supposed" to go to. This is just gonna be just one more giant cluster **** of **** all over again. Can we not learn from our past?

I don't see the point of just supplying small arms to a few small factions if it only means prolonging their inevitable loss and more carnage. And too, it's a sectarian war now and I don't think we should be in the middle of it.

How can an administration with a debacle like Fast and Furious expect us to believe they won't let the weapons get in the wrong hands. Hell, for all we know, the "right" hands over there could end up being the "wrong" hands. Gee, that's never happened before.

Won't the C.I.A. be involved in the moving of these weapons? Yeah, I can't see how anything could go wrong.
