I'll never forget the first Air Jordan's.

The ugliest sneaker ever put into the marketplace at that point.

I was working with a European footwear retailer at the time, running their USA operation.

They did not understand American marketing at all and I used this Nike marketing campaign to try to get through to them.
 
'member when people were constantly complaining that the "thugs" wore their pants too low.
