The diary of Dang Thuy Tram, a young female doctor who died in the Vietnam war in 1970, has been recovered and published as a book, and is being widely distributed in Asia.
It is supposed to be translated to English and distributed in the US sometime next year.
I can't wait to read it.
Has anybody else heard about this?
I heard about it on a talk radio show a few weeks ago. They read some excerpts and interviewed Dr. Tram's mother, who says she still hasn't been able to read much of the diary, because it is still too painful.
Anyway, I'm sure it will be an astounding book, and here's a link about Dr. Tram.
