Hey - librarians hate what that trump lawyer said because library books are serious, just like TS stuff and they want their books back too!

So there you have it: a Federalist Society judge, doing exactly as she was trained to do. Six Democratic senators voted to confirm this clown, and 23 senators in total didn't even vote at all. Christ!
 
Is this a talking point you got from somewhere? That Biden proclaimed documents are reclassified just like he proclaimed student loans are forgiven, and like a pope, it is done?

I thought a president can't just declare something and someone else had to be involved in declassification or spending money?
 
Who ELSE has agreed that student loans can be forgiven? Did anyone that you know of concur and sign off on it?

You will note that many Democrats running in the midterms have distanced themselves from Biden's proclamation which is definitely illegal because he is not a king and must go through congress.

With regard to declassifying documents, the l; aw is either nonexistent or murky. However, this wasn't just something he said after he left the office as many here have said (I could call it a lie like the left does). He said this through a post that is a matter of public record. A proclamation ala Biden, if you will. All of you here have accepted Biden's proclamation with much fanfare, haven't you? I didn't, but apparently, it's a done deal cause Biden said it, amirite? I know that YOU personally didn't accept Trump's proclamation, but I did and so did many others. His mere pronouncement, like Biden. is enough for me.

Go ahead and request it and see if you get a response any faster than you would from Obama whose 12 years are up in 2028. Can you wait that long? Trump's 12 years would be 2032.

I am not Trump and I am not one of his lawyers. I could probably do a better job than they are but I am not one of them. They don't play hardball with the FBI and DOJ enough. They have to be ruthless like those agencies and let's hope in 2024 they will be.

Covid is over and that is a ridiculous excuse to forgive loans and should be taken to court. Hardly anyone has Covid anymore and if that was the excuse the loans could have been forgiven or suspended two years ago.

I used to get legal opinions and am familiar with them. It is like judge shopping. You just get an opinion from a lawyer will side with your philosop[hy and he will then use apologetics that would make a Christian blush

Trump is someone from the private sector who was in business all his life and knows the corruptness that the United States runs on, where the politicians engage in insider trading and bribery with impunity, like Biden using his son as a bag man and getting away with it and the FBI going after him because he isn't p[laying their games. No doubt Trump had to pay off plenty of mayors, code officers, councilmen, and politicians to build his hotels and golf courses. Some here imagine that our governmental agencies are all squeaky clean upstanding moral people and they are not. They are ruthless power hungry idiots who use their power to screw with the public to their benefit and have their hands out. The FBI accepted lunches and tickets and who knows what else from the media for tips and inside information The FBI has an office inside the DC offices of Perkins Coie. The CIA has complete idiots and liars like Clapper and Brennan. The DOJ had Eric Holder who admitted he was the wingman for Obama. Now Garland is going after Trump tooth and nail and bows to the teachers union and told all of those who work there NOT to talk to anyone in Congress, a chilling message to keep whistleblowers from spilling the beans.

THAT, my friend, is what Trump was and is dealing with. A government that is rotten to the core and he knew it and they knew that he knew it.

They were declassified. I won't say this again.....he declassified just like Biden canceled the student loans....a proclamation.

Obama was a very effective liar. Many think he is in his third term. The comment last night from senile ole Jope was straight from Obama...."We must be a government for everybody, not just for some"

That is the derisi9ve type of snide comment that Obama would make during his horrible reign. It is vague in that it doesn't say what he means and at the same time derides anyone that doesn't agree with their big government programs as being heartless, selfish, and uncaring. you know, like "fascists". If he was pressed on it he would then backtrack and say that is not really what he meant but we need to be more compassionate which again is another vague term suggesting that the democrats are the good and moral people and others should feel guilty cause they are not. It's like a Christian professing his faith and telling others that if they don't believe as they do, they go to hell.

On the merits, fewer people are catching Covid but the economic harm remains, which justifies the action. Nobody has to convince you that the action is proper, it just must meet the rational basis test.

Biden has acted like a king since he took office. He just enacted things through edict. He knows damn well that Congress would never do this and his handlers told him that he could use the Covid excuse. There is absolutely no relevance whatsoever to Covid and a loan. My house loan was not forgiven or suspended. This is an "in your face America' edict by a king that will cost us all another trillion dollars as well as instill in the hearts and minds of the populace that if you are responsible you are a fool.

More than anything else that piece of crap president has done, this one bothers me the most. Lobbyists spent 130 million to get this. he cowered to them because of an upcoming election to get the far left back on board and screw the hard-working people that paid their loans off. The Democrats are now the party of irresponsibility and rewarding all those who didn't pay the price. this gives a message to humanity that you don't have to work hard because you'll be bailed out. Little wonder people now demand an abortion paid for by taxpayers because of their irresponsibility, free school lunches, child care, 4 months off work for a baby.
 
Your hypocrisy has no bounds. President Trump in 2020 unilaterally extending the federal unemployment supplement and providing other relief to Americans struggling because of the pandemic. Whether that was good policy is negated by the fact that he was acting like a king, as you would say, and you didn't complain.
If any president acted like a king, Trump did, with his numerous executive orders, listed here.
