Ranked Ballot in Maine

It seems the perceived loser does not like this system and is challenging the result as a violation of the US Constitution.

The Maine Supreme Court had issued an advisory opinion stating that the system violates the Maine state Constitution. Neither the TIMES or PORTLAND PRESS HERALD seemed to wonder why Poloquin is wasting his time in federal court when the state court has pretty much said his objections are correct.

I thought this topic would have got a lot of response in DP, so I was a little surprised. This thread is dead.

But someone has brought it up under "Polls", and it is getting a lively discussion. You may wish to comment there.
