Please join Human rights first this Sunday, April 30 in Washington, DC at the Rally to Stop Genocide. The rally is from 2 pm to 4 pm on the National Mall.
George Clooney, recently back from a trip to Darfur, will be speaking at the rally - as well as other celebrities, faith leaders, political figures, activists and survivors of genocide. Speakers include: Paul Rusesabagina, the hotel owner whose story was depicted in the film Hotel Rwanda, Olympic Speed Skater Joey Cheek, basketball player Manute Bol, and many others
Representatives from Human Rights First will be standing at the south side of the mall, between 3rd Street and 4th Street (closer to 3rd). The closest metro is Federal Center.they will be close to the National Museum of the American Indian. If you are facing the Capitol from the center of the Mall, they will be on the right hand side with posters and T-shirts identifying
themselves.
