Well the most watched mayoral race this election cycle seems to be decided. He continues as the mayor of Chicago.

So I seriously considered voting for Chuy. Not because I thought he was a good candidate, or that I thought he had any chance of winning - I was hoping that the election was going to be close with Rahm only winning by a slim margin. After that forced run-off that got us here, it really put some hot fire under Rahm's ass. Let's hope tonight's election drives that lesson home and keeps Rahm in check and working to better Chicago in favor of its residents (instead of the city's vendors that run the privatized city services, or Garcia's teacher's unions).

Rahm is the ultimate RINO--just like Romney--and just like the new GOP governor of Illinois.
Not that there's anything inherently wrong with that.
Commissioner Garcia wasn't suppose to be here--we'll see if Rahm gets the message of being forced into a run-off .

Rahm is a Democrat. So I'm not sure how he could be a Republican in Name Only. :2razz:

Where were all these media morons dumping on Rahm BEFORE the election?
Chicago--the tale of two cities--what do you think?
What do you think Rahm did to buy off CTA President Lewis from running?

Rahm made millions on his deal as the middle man when helping our GOP hedge-funder governor become a billionaire.
Rahm is very close to this GOP governor's wife, who says she's a Democrat.
How much did Rahm help his own DEM governor last November?

With all of this BS from me, Rahm and Rauner are probably the best we could hope for to deal with Cullerton and Madigan .

"Fire Rahm" signs in the Rahm crowd on EN VIVO. :lamo

As Rahm comes out before Garcia is done speaking.

Rahm is giving a good speech--it's easy to be humble when you win--after being humbled with this run-off and fairly close election.
Rahm is conceding that he has heard the people and their concerns--we'll see.

"I hear you Chicago", he keeps saying .

Well now Rahm can thank those Republicans that all came out to back him.....huh? Seems the favor was returned.

Chicago was hosed no matter who won.
