Actor, writer, director and producer Clark Middleton, known for his memorable roles in "Twin Peaks, "The Blacklist," “Kill Bill Vol. 2” and “Snowpiercer,” died on Sunday at age 63. ...Fans may most easily recognize Middleton from his recurring roles on “Law & Order” and “The Blacklist,” where he played DMV boss Glen Carter. ... Throughout his life, he battled rheumatoid arthritis, which he was diagnosed with at the age of 4. https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/clark-middleton-dead-blacklist-twin-peaks

His character on "The Blacklist" was marvelous, a real jerk but funny. No, he wasn't world-famous nor an icon (except perhaps to those with disabilities), just "Whatshisname--you know, that guy on _____," but I wanted to note his passing (from West Nile Virus) because he mattered too.
