The brother of a good friend was with the German Army in the states for some years.
Anywhere northwest - Washington state or Oregon I think.
He was driving a car and was stopped by the sheriff. The Sheriff said he was drunk, but he said he was not. He said he drank nothing for weeks.
But the sheriff said so. He said he had no Chance, was put to jail for a night, got a harsh financial punishment and had to put a control machine in his car so the car only would start if he is sober.
The machine costed ~ 2000 Dollar and often did not work so he was really pissed off.
He said he had no chance to prove he was sober with a blood test or anything - the word of the Sheriff is law.
Could that story be true?
