Question for US citizens over the age of 18

What are your plans for November ?

As of now, no one has earned my vote.
 
Probably vote mostly R here in GA.
 
I will presumably be voting Democrat. Although I'm not strictly opposed to voting R, I never have and this year seems like an unlikely time to start.
 
I voted R most of my life. I have split tickets before, mostly in the 90's. I was back to R in the 2000's. There was one recent, yet pre-Trump, election with a highly objectionable Republican candidate that I couldn't vote for so I left that spot blank, because I wasn't ready to cross over to the D.

Now it will be straight D for the foreseeable future.

I will vote in the mid term election.
I will vote a mix of D, R, and I.

I have never voted straight Party line.

I voted for both of those men every chance I had prior to 2016. I regret it now! But, no.

The person for whom I could not bring myself to vote but who wasn't enough at the time to make me actually leave the party was Glenn Grothman. He was elected to Congress in November 2014. He has been a better representative than I thought he would be, so I might have felt okay voting for him in 2016 -- if the rest of the GOP hadn't disgusted me so thoroughly by that point.

I left the party in November of 2015 while the GOP was doing things like allowing Trump to become their frontrunner and stiffing veterans in order to prevent Obama from being able to get credit for helping veterans.
 
I despise both parties equally, so I will vote third party. We desperately need a third party in this country to promote sanity and moderation. As long as people think they're throwing their votes away by voting for the lesser of two evils, we'll never get that as a credible option.

I'm all over the place. In 2020, I voted for Biden, more against Trump than for Biden. Anyone on the ballot without the last name of Trump would have done. But I voted Republican for the senate, both in the general and in the Runoffs in January. then voted for Democrat David Scott for my congressional representative.

2022, hard to tell. Redistricting hasn't been completed for Georgia. I don't know if Scott will still be my congressman or not. As for the senate, I don't know who'll be going up again Democrat Warnock. But since I'm a fan of divided government, I'll probably vote republican there. I hate it when either party controls both chambers of congress and the presidency. Both always try to force their agenda and ideology on all the rest of us. With divided government, either the parties work together to get things accomplished, compromise for the betterment of all or we get nothing. Nothing is okay with me, at least it isn't something one party is trying to force down the throats of all other Americans. If Gallup is to be believed, Democrats make up approximately 30% of the electorate, Republicans 28%, when one or the other controls the presidency and both chambers of congress, it's the rest of us, the remaining 70% that are at the whims and wants of either party's base.30% deciding what's best for the remaining 70%.

We have a governor's election also down here. If it's R Perdue vs. D Abrams, I'll vote third party against both. Perdue has become a Trumper and Abrams a Democratic Party hack. If Kemp happens to be facing Abrams, I'll go with Kemp. I have no qualms in voting third party when I dislike both major party candidates. I want my disdain for them officially registered.

With all the drama the left gave Trump, and the short time it took them to screw things up while having total control, it will be a straight Republican ticket. The left does not have the balls to effectively lead, at least not the bunch in DC today.....they're out.
 
I have in the past voted for GOP candidates (George Bush Sr, Dole, local guys), but I wouldn't vote for a republican for dogcatcher until they clean up their act.
