Who do you hate more? Liberals or Osama Bin Laden?

You need to add an "all of the above" option.

I'm not conservative but I'll have to put my vote on Osama.

It's a damn shame we were the one's who trained him in the first place, but I wouldn't feel bad if the man were to take bullet through the head.

I'm actually hoping that he's already dead. But I won't be happy until I see a picture of his corpse.

Osama and crew are just different kinds of red neck.

Har, Your right. I should have put that on there.

Obviously Osama Bin Laden, he killed innocent Americans , but the Clintons/Liberals are a close second

I don't understand this business about hating liberals... in the last gubernatorial election in my state, the Republican candidate used that descriptor like a four-letter word. I have no problems with liberals; I actually- gasp- I actually agree with them sometimes. Them. Them. Agreement anomalous. Look at me. I'm talking about Democrats as though they were some strange beast at the zoo! Maybe that's rather revealing?

*shakes head in disgust with self*

Although I don't agree with all of the Clintons' ideas, it's Osama Bin Laden I'm not particularly fond of. He gets my vote.

I hate people that are so subjective in their political perceptions that they become completely incapable of looking at the big picture. Do I hate Osama Bin Laden? Yes. Do I hate George W Bush? Yes.

It's quite ironic that so far the blood of Americans that has fallen at the hands of each of these individuals (Bush, Bin Laden) is almost equivelant, and thats simply a factual and physical matter that could be independently corroborated by anyone who can count over 2000. Even more so it is also ironic that only the fundamentalist supporters of such individuals claim to know the reason... "why".

Bin Laden. I don't hate any of the others. Dislike and Disagree, maybe - but not hate.

Less than 3000 people died in the Sept 11 attacks. The number of US soldiers killed in Iraq is over 2000 and counting.

Bush is pretty much doing bin Laden's job for him.

To: Any Republican or conservative who hates liberals or Democrats and vice-versa, because you think he/she is anti-US or hates the country,

I am annoyed on how many think that that either liberals/Democrats or conservatives/Republicans hate America. Both have strong influences on people in the US, so if you hate them because of their party/ideology you would certainly hate a large percentage of the people in the country. Also both parties have long histories of both helping and hurting this country. Example, Republicans have Lincoln, who you counld say got the country through the Civil War, and ended legal slavery in the US. Democrats have FDR, who got the country through the Great Depression with retaining the capitalist system. And created many social programs that still exist today, and got us through WWII virtually. Both have also harmed the country. Jackson was a Democrat who forced many Native Americans from where they were into "tighter" spots, such as "The Trail of Tears", where they were forced to move to Oklahoma Territory. Republicans have a history of scandals, E.g. Teapot Dome, Watergate, Iran-Contra. Both parties also were formed along time ago, the Democrats origins are from the Democratic-Republican Party, when it split. The Republicans can trace it to that thet're party was formed as an anti-slavery. So enough said, neither Democrats or Republicans really "hate" the country, both are nationalistic. So all in all both are as "American" as the other, both "hate" "America" about the same.

I find it funny that you have the quote of a ravid Libertarian on your signature.

So? I agree with libertarians on some issues.

Also:
Thompson was acutely aware of the flaws in such a system and regularly advocated radical approaches to politics that veered between libertarian, anarchist, and some aspects of socialism

Also before I have been described as a "Libertarian Socialist".

I suppose you're trying to address the folks who adhere to 'popular conservatism', pop-cons, as opposed to some of the more traditional forms of conservatism.

Pop-cons are in favor of big government and social engineering experiments conducted by the federal government among other things. Hard to believe, I know. But it's true that some folks adhere to these classic tenets of liberalism and call it conservatism.

As a conservative, let me state that I don't have the time to go around hating folks I don't even know.

Given a choice I'd rather have UbL removed from the planet than the tens of millions of Americans who consider themselves liberals. IMHO, dissent is part and parcel of what is American. Just like on DP, in America, you're free to be stupid. That's what the freedom of speech is about. We're all free to open our mouths and remove all doubt as to our idiocy.

Jackson had the only Inaugural Party I would have liked to go to.
