These 3 questions have been pondering me for a while down can anyone help me?

*House of Representatives get elected every two year and the senate get ever six year why is that?

*What are the constitutional qualifications that are requirements for candidates seeking election to the Senate and House of Representatives. What additional requirements would you add to this list?

*What regulatory powers and enumerated power do congress have?

Please tell me if i am right or wrong on this "Congress get there money from the people in form of taxs?" Right

Is this for a school assignment?

The House of Representatives has always been accountable directly to the people, and therefore the people needed to be able to vote on them regularly. The Senate was considered more important and more prestigious, and was originally appointed by the states rather than directly elected. As such, they didn't need to be elected every two years since the state government wouldn't usually change enough in that length of time to change the senator.

The qualifications for the House are to be 25 years old, a US citizen for 7 years, and a resident of the state one is representing.

The qualifications for the Senate are to be 30 years old, a US citizen for 9 years, and a resident of the state one is representing.

I wouldn't add any additional requirements. In fact I'd eliminate them. Any adult US citizen should be able to run for either House or Senate IMO. Let the voters decide whether or not they're qualified.
