The group claimed on its social media channels on Monday that it had, alongside the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC), "completely liberated" the settlement of Kozinka in Belgorod, and that its units had entered Graivoron.

Belgorod Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced that "a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" had entered the territory of Graivoron.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation, together with the border service, the Russian Guard and [Russia's Federal Security Service] the FSB, are taking the necessary measures to eliminate the enemy. I will report the details," he said on his Telegram channel.

Ukrainian news outlets reported Monday that a message was broadcast on radio stations saying that Belgorod will soon "become free."

This is the first land operation by Ukrainian backed forces into Russian territory. I have no idea what the fighting strength or objectives of the Freedom of Russia Legion are. Perhaps they are just trying to draw resources away from any planned counter offenses.

Still, incredible that this could happen to Russia at all. How embarrassing.

So, an org who's primary goal is protecting civilians and turning Syria into a democracy, a volunteer org who puts their lives at risk to help provide medical services and protect civilians, and an insurgencies group that formed as a result of repeated genocidal attempts against Albanians.

At this point I think most people would be better of reflexively supporting any group you oppose. And you call yourself a socialist
