Purchasing Porn and the Shame That Comes With It

The other night, my girlfriend and I were standing outside of my apartment talking. It was fairly late at night, so there weren't many people around. We heard someone walking up the stairs and didn't really think much of it as we were talking. A man with tremendous fear in his eyes walked up the stairs and past us. The fear in his eyes increased when he saw that we noticed the naked woman and the word "Jigglers" on the DVD that he tightly clutched in his sweaty left hand. His brisk walk then quickly turned into a sprint as he ran towards his apartment, opened the door and slammed it shut behind him. My girlfriend and I went back into my apartment and collapsed with laughter. This led to about an hour of conversation about how the guy could have done a ton of things differently so as to avoid embarrassment. In retrospect, we probably ruined his fun that night just by our mere presence outside.

A couple of days later the guy walked by me as I was exiting my apartment on my way to work. This time he walked quickly right past me and hid his head in his jacket. I can't even fathom being that repressed.

Very likely one of the DP Moderators?

You should have asked him if you could borrow "Jigglers" :)

I used to have to buy one my ex-boyfriend's porn mags for him because he was too embarrassed to do it.

I suppose it's better then him asking "Hey you wanna come over and watch this with me sometime ;)"

I don't really get why people are so uptight about stuff like that.

Very true! ;)

Alternate approach;

'You guys wanna borrow it when I'm done? You have a DVD player, don't you? In fact, why don't you guys just come over...?'
