Puppetmasters setting Kamala up to fail?

If she was sent there to succeed, whoever it was that sent her is dumb as a rock and should be fired for their stupidity. And she is stupid if she didn't argue with whoever sent her. It was a political suicide mission. What's next, send Kamala to AARP meetings to tell them Social Security is bloated and their checks are being reduced? No political strategist could be that stupid.

Lol, this is exactly what Presidents do with their VP's. It has nothing to do with setting them up to fail, so much as it has innoculating the President from politically hot potato issues until the Administration can up up with a plan it can sell politically. Its really about buying some time and about using the VP to help develop some alliances and support down the road. Its actually a very good idea even if it does not help the VP politically in the short run.

Answer me this then: How could so-called experts not have known how badly it would damage her career? She already had a credibility problem. Anyone could see that would make it worse.

It doesn't help in the long run either. Now her political enemies have plenty MORE weapons to use against her. An illegal murders someone years from now....blood's on Kamala's hands. It was either terrible political strategy or brilliant....since getting her out of the way benefits the party.
 
The OP is completely unfair. Harris has been BY FAR the best female of color we have ever had as VP.

Oh Stop. Its not a political suicide mission. She needs seasoning on the international stage. The Article 2 powers in this country follows the President and nobody is going to change that.

Not at all. Nobody is complaining about any qualified candidate. They are complaining that Biden said people are unqualified if they are Hispanic or Asian. I thought he believed in inclusiveness.

You are still missing the point. Why send her there? Why send her to Europe and as soon as she gets there declare war is inevitable? That makes no sense. What does make sense is getting her out of the way to make room for future Democrats who can actually help the party.
