Now I know we're accused of being prudes in the US but I gotta say, I don't want to have to see some dude pleasuring himself at the beach, park, library etc. I'll go ahead and attach a poll. I know I shouldn't make it public but I don't even bother with polls that aren't. The question will be something like, "Do you think it should be legal to masturbate in public places?"

Given the number of infections that can be spread through semen, I would imagine that it would pose something of a public health hazard as well.

I don't think it should be legal, but given the choice between "not guilty" and sex offender status for life, I would rather legalize it. At the least, it's inconsiderate to others, but if there are no kids around and it's only done once, i don't think it should necessarily bring jail time.

Knowingly doing that in front of a child where I live is Indecency with a Child and will get you sex offender registration (for ten years, not life). I gotta say, I'm cool with that. Also where I live, two indecent exposure convictions gets you sex offender status. I'm good with that too.

Yup. Three of six incidents happened in the downtown area. One in my hometown, one in Hawaii, and the last one in Toronto, which I lovingly refer as the "coke bottle bum man incident." It's rather amazing I don't have PSMD -- Post-Traumatic Masturbator Disorder. :lol:
