There are four main issues to this topic; conserving our oceans, conserving our forests, desertification and fighting global warming.

Fixing our oceans is easy, simply make a spongy tissue like thing to absorb all the oil and rise to the top of the oceans. polymers with oil in them can be drained quickly with a 'crushing machine,' and big business loves oil!

Fixing our forests could be done by planting more trees, or, reducing the need for wood. it is so cheap to chop down forests for wood and so easy to plant new trees. the best place to look for wood would be in russia and canada, as, although it is harder to do this there, these trees are covered with snow most of the time, diminishing the air supply. as things get hotter, the snow will melt, allowing the trees there to release oxygen and replenish our air supply naturally. harvesting these trees, frees up a lot 'dead wood' tat is going to waste, of course. planting new trees is done so much that we will have more trees than ever before by the year 2050 i heard.

Desertification can be combated by regrowing the plants on the outskirts of the desert. eventually, we will have so little desert left it will cease to exist, and only nice land will remain. this can be done by pumping sewage out to the desert where it brings little things that are still alive to get into the soil, and then the seeds from nearby animals and wind carrying the seeds will naturally replenish the desert.

Global warming is happening as a factor of there being not enough oxygen or the air to be 'stable.' the more we produce the refuse of carbons, the more the world will suffer. f this to stop, we need to produce with something that does not need fires to cook it's way to existence. of course, we could also produce oxygen artificially, or, we could balance the air in some other way. this could be done quickly by exploding bombs underwater to make water vapor for the atmosphere, or even digging gullies that let little bits of water into the deserts surrounding the coast, then having it fade as the sun shines on it, leaving behind some much needed water that has something alive in it - that is not usable directly, but is usable.

Wow, all that solved without any need at all to understand anything.

You will fit in well with the green movement except that you actually think that things can be fixed.

Sure, let's dump a few billion tons of "spongy tissue" into the ocean and let it float around. I'm sure nothing could possibly go wrong.

An estimated 3-6 billion trees per year are cut down globally. (hard to measure exactly) Better get planting.

Dumping sewage into a desert: a real recipe for life.

Global warming is happening as a factor of there being not enough oxygen or the air to be 'stable.'
That really isn't it.

So all we need is the ability to cook without heat and one of those Star Trek matter replicators. Yep, I agree, that would solve a lot of issues.

However, water vapor is a greenhouse gas so if fighting global warming is your goal, may I suggest not intentionally increasing atmospheric water vapor.

Maybe we should just stop trying to fix things we don't understand well enough yet.

We do understand certain things well enough to know what direction to go.

1) Do our best to reduce and/or eliminate aerosol emission.

2) Stop being scared by climate stations showing artificial rises, because they are influenced by the urban heat island effect, and loss of natural transpiration.

3) Teach the rest of the world the impacts of not taking care of garbage correctly.

That's all I'm taking time for now. Have to leave soon.

How about we add:

4) Stop trying to break things we don't really understand well enough yet.
