HA!

It looks like Rush Limpbaugh got away without doing hard time again. Typical, you've got millions and you can just about pay your way out of anything short of murder in this country. Hmm, I wouldn't doubt that Rush could get even get away with murder and still not do hard time in some country-club prison, at least not without viagra!

LOL... and I love it!

http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/07/05/limbaugh.viagra.ap/index.html

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida (AP) -- Rush Limbaugh will not face charges in Palm Beach County for the bottle of Viagra found in his luggage that appeared to have been prescribed to someone else, prosecutors said Wednesday.

Charges could have nullified the conservative radio host's plea agreement in a "doctor shopping" case.

Limbaugh, 55, was detained for more than three hours at Palm Beach International Airport on June 26 after he returned on his private plane from a vacation in the Dominican Republic...

He was an idiot, don't charge him. He won't do it again. We all had our laugh at his expense and will continue to do so, and that is punishment enough.

Or.... it could be that it wasn't illegal in the first place...

It said in that article that "It is generally not illegal under Florida law for a physician to prescribe medication in a third party's name if all parties are aware and the doctor documents it correctly"....

Have we really reached the point in this country where we WANT to jail our political opponents so badly that we overlook the law?

That's exactly what's wrong with the picture here, Rush has it soft no matter what he does or where he goes now days. No one is willing to prosecute him.

Hard times are over for Rush, all Rush has to do is hire some big-time liberal lawyer and he will get him off time and time again.

It's all Rush has left, he reminds me so much of Michael Jackson and his situation.

It's ok, you just keep standing-up for Rush because he certainly can't stand-up for himself anymore.

And then he changes the subject.

The subject here my friend is Rush's inability to play it straight anymore, he seems to be above the law!

Wow, did Post #4 go completely overlooked or what?

What law did he break here? The answer is.... all together now.... none....

Oh he broke a law alright, the beauty of our system is that we can and may overlook many instances of petty-crimes and sometimes more serious ones.

It's all a matter of plea-bargaining, coupled with stature and fame of the suspect taken into account, and of course, the affordability of a high-priced lawyer.

I actually thought he should not be charged. I listened to Keith Olbermann discussing this issue and thought there was not enough to find he violated his plea agreement. I have no problem with him not being charged.

However, did you all listen to how he blamed obtaining the Viagra from the Clinton Library? It was so ridiculous, and it wasn't even funny. I actually felt sorry for him. When humiliated, go after a former president. LOL

Apparently, Viagra is given out in groups of 30 pills. They found 29 pills. I wonder if he did "it" in Jamaica? The poor woman (or man ;)) who was likely a prostitute. How pathetic.

Not to split hairs, but what law did he break then? And if so, why did it say in the CNN story that it WASN'T illegal for him to have those drugs in a doctor's name?

Hateful partisan conjecture.... you're better than that Aps, I know it....

Sheesh, unlike Rush and APS, you guys are a bunch of 'stiffs'!

My posts are loaded with satire and double-entendres and all you people get is defensive.

Lighten-up, dang, apparently it's true, you dittoheads have lost your sense of humor. I guess President Bush has ruined most of you.

I get that KR; however, there is so much talk on this site about wanting to put someone in jail just based on the fact that they belong to a different political party or have different political beliefs than someone... and it p's me off...

I know you love our country and so do I dammit and it frustrates me to NO END the hatred and intolerance that we've become to have for one another... It's no longer healthy debate as the norm anymore but the exception...

How can we say we love America when we hate American's so?

Look at Aps post just a few posts above... that was just filled with hate for this guy... why? Because he's a Republican? Because he has different beliefs than her? He has a 1st Amendment right to say whatever it is he wants to say... even if he is a a$$hole most of the time...

I appreciate the compliment, but I am sort of being serious. If he goes to Jamaica by himself and has sex with someone, there is a 50-50 chance that he paid for sex. He's not a hot papa by any means. Shallow, yes, but true.

I hear what you're saying... or typing for that matter... but my question is... so? Isn't someone's private life private? I never cared what Bill Clinton did behind closed doors... I don't care what anyone does behind closed doors for that matter... if it's legal... do it... I don't care...

I don't care. Frankly, his saying that he got the Viagra from the Clinton library was said in very poor taste. I would have totally respected him if he said, "I had a good time, and I would rather not discuss it." Instead, he used it as an opportunity to slam Bill Clinton. How pathetic is that? It shows what a jerk he is.

Hard to argue that he isn't a jerk sometimes, but still....

I just thought he could have handled it better, and it made me feel better to insult him. After all, he spends all of his air time insulting democrats/liberals. I have to get even sometimes....

An article I saw said it was a 50 pill bottle...bow chika bow wowwwwww:lol:

I wonder if he's still going to lecture "libs" about morals. Rush is Divorced and obstensibly having sex outside marriage. I wouldn't be suprised if it were investigated to find out it was with an escort service.

:rofl
