What you said is of course quite correct.
Perhaps what I neglected to say was that this alteration to the Russian Constitution also gave the (executioners) the right to pursue in other nations.
There are many countries and cultures that have completely different and odd (from our perspective) governmental practices and policies. So what? The fact that we expect every country to behave like we do is not only arrogant but kind of fascist. Do we have to agree with it? No, and it is really none of our business unless it actually has to do with us directly.
