Dylan Bryan Adams, 33, a fiscal policy analyst for the State of Minnesota, was captured on vehicle surveillance footage allegedly dragging a key across the exteriors of several Teslas, stripping paint and causing thousands of dollars in damage.
Authorities reportedly arrested Adams on suspicion of causing an estimated $20,000 in damage, with formal charges still pending, according to the Minnesota-based crime watch account @CrimeWatchMpls on X.

A college student was arrested by federal authorities in Boston after allegedly launching a Molotov cocktail at a Tesla dealership in Missouri while home on spring break.

Owen McIntire, 19, of Kansas City, was arrested and made an initial court appearance Friday in U.S. District Court in Massachusetts.

McIntire, a college student in Boston, was charged with unlawful possession of an unregistered destructive device and malicious damage by fire of any property used in interstate commerce, according to court documents filed in the Western District of Missouri.

Vandalism and violence are two different words.

They have different meanings.
 
Vandalism is causing damage to property.

Violence is actually attacking people. An example of violence is the January 6th attack on officers of the law who tried to defend the US Capitol from the maga nuts who were determined to take government matters into their own hands after losing the 2020 election to Joe Biden.

There are mature and immature people within every group.

Making the assumption that the few immature represent the many is called stereotyping. It is a mistake because it does not accurately reflect reality. Believing such exaggerations leads to not being accurately well informed, believing in things that are not actually true.

This could be caused by guilt over having to defend immature actions of one's own political faction for a very long time, and foolishly wanting to 'get even.'

That accomplishes nothing but drives our nation further apart at a time when what America needs is more unity.

The prescient struggle in America is the greedy rich oligarchs against the rest of the nation. The fact that our government is bought causes far more problems than any of the misconceptions of maga. Big greedy dark money funds right wing extremist think tanks that influence right wing talking head bloviators to spread resentment for government and scapegoat groups such as immigrants and gay people. Those emotions are motivators for maga voters. They are not trying to create a better nation. They are voting on the wrong issues. Bitter division will not make America great.

Poor immigrants looking for a better life don't make the decisions that make life difficult for working Americans. It is the rich, greedy and powerful who make those decisions. Who decides how much a bank can charge for overdraft fees? Immigrants? No. Who decides how much the interest is on buy-here-pay-here car ripoff joints? Gay people? No. Who decides how much the interest rate is on credit cards? Women who want an abortion? No. It is the bought government. Bought by the same big greedy dark money that influences the things the extreme right believes.

Seriously, defending billionaires is not going to make America great. Maga has totally been had. Pawns for the oligarchs. That's what maga is.

Progressives are not the problem in America. Progressives rally against the outrage of bought government.

Progressives want a government that is representative of the people, not big money.

Progressives want freedom, not a feudal system of lords and serfs, which is what America is sadly becoming with our bought government.

Burning Teslas are a symbol of a far greater problem.

It's immature to vandalize other people's property. Mature people do not support doing so. Mature people would prefer to reason about the facts and the real situation in this country. Benjamin Franklin would totally be saying about our present bought government: "This was exactly what I was concerned about when I said our government is a Republic, if you can keep it."

Did you support Trump's decision to pardon people who were convicted of vandalizing the Capitol on 1/6 and injuring law enforcement officers?
 
It is a greater deflection to claim that the left is behind political violence. It is deflecting away from the fact that there is violence on both sides.

The left doesn't go marching around with tiki torches chanting blood and soil.

Trying to claim that violence can be attributed solely to the left is refusing to admit a fact that the left is responsible for only a small portion of political violence in America. Far less than 50%. Everybody knows where most of the violence comes from. Some people simply choose to pretend otherwise. And that's not good for the mind. It is better to seek actual reality. Not "alternative facts."

Believing in "alternative facts" leads to a troubled mind.
 
Not going to lie but if this is the worse of the violence that we're seeing so far this really isn't the worse acts of violence possible. Firebombing a dealership at night when nobody is around is vandalism. I mean the OP cites as the top act of violence committed by a "progressive" is keying Teslas.

What exactly OP are you afraid of?
 
These guys getting pardoned sends a pretty clear message that political violence is OK, maybe even patriotic.

Thank you. Turning violent people who have been sentenced to serve time out of prison creates guilt over just who is responsible for the most political violence.

When people lose faith in government a nation is in peril.

Turning criminals loose and putting criminals in office reduces faith in government. It leads to political violence.

Bitterly dividing America does not make the country great.

Donald had 4 years to make America great and he didn't do it.

It's hard to imagine how 4 more years would. Particularly if it now involves unhinged radical seizing of power the executive is not granted in the Constitution.
