Prince's drug dealer speaks: $40,000 at a time for 25 years...

Lady on CNN blamed his pain problems on the fact that he wore high heels. So you men out there need to avoid that.

I don't know if you know who Eddie Dibbs is but I remember talking to him when he was playing an exhibition tennis event in conjunction with what is now the Masters 1000 event near Cincinnati He had double hip replacement at a young age and he noted his pain was brutal before he had it. Dibbs style was that of a human backboard-bringing ball after ball back with heavy pace but unlike big servers or attackers he didn't win many easy points. He was the quintessential grinder and that meant his hips took a horrible beating

Can't say the name rings a bell, but he speaks the truth. The problem with having bum hips is since they're right at the center of your bodies gravity, you really can't do much anything without having to involve your hips. Pre-surgery I was on a pain contract with my orthopedist, though if this report is accurate I didn't take nearly the volume Prince did, but taking strong narcotic painkillers was the difference between being able to live a semi-productive life and being near bedridden. What I don't sympathize with is if he had his hip replacement in 2010, there shouldn't be any reason to continue using the pain meds with the two exceptions to that statement being addiction or other severe pain issues along with the previously repaired hip. Let me tell you, getting a hip replaced is an agonizing and horrible experience, but once you heal up and go through the necessary physical therapy...it's like getting a new lease on life.

His drug dealer should get a prison term, not a book deal.

Yes indeed....all dealers should be given loooong prison terms.

I've always avoided that, even when I saw Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Sammy Davis Jr. and The Fonz, wearing them.

More like the stuff the liberal biased MSM won't touch...for fear of putting a their lib buddies in a bad light. When we have to find out things through foreign media, that tells me that our MSM is bought and paid for.
You can continue to deny it Redress.......but all you are doing is covering for your fellow libs...

Exactly. I wouldnt call this mainstream media... at all.

It's not....but thanks to a lack of integrity and outright lies, by our MSM....that's what we get.

Man, that liberal media, all biased against UFOs!

The Daily Mirror?

Come on.

I will wait for the autopsy before I even begin to pass judgement.

I don't doubt he did drugs and/or died from an overdose.

But I ain't buying it from the Daily Mirror reports from a former drug dealer.

That's not necessarily true.

But from what I've been reading elsewhere, this drug addiction thing may be spin intended to deflect from what some regard as a more devastating explanation for Prince's death (complications related to AIDS).

plus he spent lots of time playing hoops. Not a bad player for a guy who was what 5-2?

pain (killer) addiction is brutal-I have seen it ruin three really good attorneys-one I grew up with, two I tried cases against and respected as worthy adversaries.

drugs abuse destroy's peoples lives on a constant basis. pain killers are the worse because it is hard to track.
I had a good friend of mine that had a sever accident and really torn his hand up.

his wife at the time warned the doctor to not give him hard pain killers because he had been an addict before.
they were both clean. the doctor ignored her warning and gave him oxy.

of course a few months later he is hooked on pain killers.

he lost his wife his daughter and it eventually killed him.

even during that process she constantly tried to get the doctor to prescribe something else
and get him off of it.

that is a possibility as well. he slept with a ton of women and was doing all sort of stuff.
so it is very possible that AIDS didn't help his other medical conditions.

I never kept up with Prince, but my understanding is that in the '90's he was wildly promiscuous.

The rumor is that when he became a Jehovah's Witness, he was persuaded to stop taking HIV meds and believed that he had been miraculously cured.

that would not surprise me. they should have known better.
yes he was highly promiscuous that also didn't include the drug use.

while he had a talent if he did die from drug abuse then he was nothing more than a rich junkie.
the same thing when Whitney Houston died. at the end of the day she was nothing more than a drug addict.

we don't cry over the crack head that dies. the only difference is they are rich and famous.

True story.

I was at a specialist for rehab on a back injury. Never met him before. Indian doctor who was hard to understand, but seemed very pleasant. During our discussions, I had told him I hadn't been feeling myself lately. A little dizzy and on edge. He asked if I felt anxious, and I told him "only about my back and the dizziness."

The guy wrote me a prescription for anti-depressants. This was after a one-time, 15-minute consultation. Needless to say, I never filled that prescription, and my condition resolved.

America is becoming a nation of recreational and prescription drug dependents, and the medical community is just stoking it.

My heart goes out to him, his family and friends. Shows you again, money and fame can't buy happiness.
Too bad no one had the gumption to do an intervention. Why? Sometimes making nice is the easy way out, isn't it?

Years of running around on stage dancing around and performing. He apparently had hip replacement surgery in 2010.

During the 1980s he was basically touring nonstop.

And reports are that Prince was in constant knee pain from all the leaps he took from props like his piano onto the staff during his many concert tours.

What I find interesting here is this seems to be a constant storyline with all big names in the music entertainment industry who have died. Elvis, Michael and now Prince all seemed to have had some sort of drug problem (prescription or illicit) that the public wasn't really aware of until their deaths.

(I'd have thrown Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston into that mix, but I think their fans already knew.)

You're using a source that believes in aliens and lizard people. Who is in denial, again?

Um... sure... I buy it. (Daily Mail and Mirror Online.)

sadly musical genius is often accompanies by being a complete loony tune

If true, it's not entirely surprising since Prince was in constant pain for years. His hips and ankles were basically shot.

He had a hip replacement a while back. He was waaay to young for that. I think the guy was a workaholic. We''l find out what really happened despite what Micky says.

People like to think of drug dealers as being some shady dude in a back alley, with a gun. But the truth is, the nations most notorious drugs dealers where scrubs and white lab coats to the office.
