Let's judge that in a binary fashion. As it stands, only Muslim terrorism is pervasive across Europe, end immigration and send all those in support and wishing to join Daesh, to Syria, wouldn't help?

The French IIRC has about 17 differing Depts that monitors these on parole or whatever they call it. they are overwhelmed with the numbers. next is the sharing of data between not on internal French Depts but the EU as well.
I can see laws being enacted to imprison a good number.

I have felt from early days, once you catch an individual trying to go to Syria then Citizenship should be revoked.

If "David" had either been changed to a more Islamic version or had been any original name (changed or given by parents), it wouldn't have been Daud anyway. That's Arabic, the proper form of and in native Farsi would have been Davood (Dawuhd, Dawood).

Iranians don't give their kids Arabic version names and if you knew anything about general Iranian attitude towards Arabs, this wouldn't need to be explained to you.

Thank you - I stand corrected. It's a long time since I lived in Iran but I know that the spellings that you provide are simply transliterations from the Arabic script in which Farsi is written. They are probably better than 'Daud'.

Your posts would be better if you toned down the arrogance. Imo.

When did you live in Iran? Or is your assumed knowledge and expertise merely derived from websites?

If they had immigrated and were granted Citizenship or if they hold dual citizenship, yes, I agree.
Now if they were born there they are stuck with them.
