Even talk of putting g Tucker Carson in jail. There is little doubt a lot of progressives would do just that if they had power.

Sadly and undeniably, that is the direction that the progressive left has been heading the last 5 years or so. I won't go so far as to say they would resort to having those they disagree with arrested and jailed, but they definitely want them universally silenced and have been working diligently to accomplish that goal through threats, intimidation and lets face it, flat out lying and misrepresenting those they disagree with.

Disagreeing with someone's point of view and at the same time defending their right to express it, used to be universally embraced by both sides not too long ago.

Progressives might talk about this stuff, but right wing conservatives actually are the ones pulling it off. Republicans are the anti-first amendment fascists these days, what with their "Don't say gay" bills, their attempts to outlaw the teaching of Critical Race Theory, their attempt to take the control of the medical treatment of children suffering from gender dysphoria away from actual medical professionals and parents, their drive empower private citizens to sue women who have abortions in civil court, etc.

If you want to do whatever you can to take away the freedoms of those you disagree with, then the Republican party is the party for you.
 
Arresting/jailing Tucker Carlson is only possible only if it is proven in a court of law that he is a russian operative. You might know the word as treason.
