I'm listening to a Noam Chomsky interview "Trump is worse than Hitler":
He makes the very good point (starting at about 20 min.) that it's absolutely necessary to vote against Trump, but that, that is*different*from day to day politics. Trump is a*DANGER*to my life, the life of my family and*ALL*AmeriCANs;*AND*he's a threat to the very existence of*THESE UNITED STATES. SO, voting against TRUMP is "NOT EVEN CONTROVERSIAL, which means taking 5 minutes and pulling the lever for the OPPOSITION ... there is simply*no question about whom to vote against,*press the leaver to get this*malignacy*out of our lives. Paraphrasing: "this is a unique moment where a sitting president has declared that he will not accept the results of the election if he loses, which means it's imperative that we VOTE in over whelming numbers that cannot be contested." Voting against Trump,"Which is a very SMALL part of politics", is a necessity that is an intermediary step that will preserve your ability and right to get back to the day to day politics you support.*"Trump's aim is to destroy organized human life on earth".
