It's not all that easy to show strict causality between actions which President of the United States of America Donald Trump has taken and changes in the world of business, either good or bad. This is especially true when we set aside the spins of the pundits and look to professional economists for guidance.
There's one small area, though, in which causality's a cinch to demonstrate. It's in a category of books, sometimes called 'tell-all's', which cast President Trump in a bad light. If he [President Trump] tweets something negative about the book, its sales take off like a rocket, often to the coveted Top 10 category.
Publishers of books denounced by President Trump have seen their bottom lines improve, even in the present less-than-optimum economic conditions.
Regards, stay safe 'n well. Remember the Big 3: masks, hand washing and physical distancing.
