That was a much clearer message than I expected. For those not listening, the Fed is committed to getting inflation back to optimal, not less. Unemployment will have to rise, and we can expect continued Basis Pt. increases into next year, maybe longer if inflation does not show signs of lowering. Perhaps now we can get a meaningful reset on EPS.
 
If inflation is driven by too much demand for too few goods then when industry and the logistics infrastructure fully recovers from the pandemic the amount of goods increases, inflation will moderate. Last months zero inflation is the first indication of that.
