Powell Steps down, who will head the FCC now? (1 Viewer)

With the Chairman of the FCC stepping down, what will happen to the world of public comminications in the near future?

It seems that the other republicans -- Kathleen Abernathy and Kevin Martin, who worked in the FCC -- are strong candidates for the position of chairman, but Bush has the option of nominating another candidate other then these two.

Who do you believe will be heading the Federal Communications Commision?

Why not kill two birds with one stone and abolish it?

I still don't understand how allowing the FCC to regulate content on the airwaves is contitutional.

Lol, it isnt'!

Same goes for plenty of other things the government does.

We need to stop them!
