Postal Workers Decry Changes And Cost-Cutting Measures

Tweety wants to hurt the postal service in order to suppress the vote.

Postal Workers Decry Changes And Cost-Cutting Measures

r

Voters should also be concerned. Very concerned.

This is Donald Trump overtly influencing the election by purposefully ruining the capability of the USPS to process mail-in votes for the November election in a timely manner.

Trump will insist that no mail-in vote counted after November 3rd is legitimate. No different than the actions of some tinpot dictator in a banana republic.

LOL. The post office is losing billions of dollars per year and cuts need to be made. Of course those cuts hurt members. So, it is no surprise that they bitch about cost cutting measures. Do postal workers have a plan to bring them back into the black, other than going on as is and expecting billions in bailouts year after year after year? No, they don't have a plan.

The postal service is losing money mostly due to government imposed retiree pre-payment plans. It requires bailouts by the same government that imposed those plans. Congress should try to work with the postal service to help reduce some of the burden, but the GOP would rather strangle our mail system out of existence to create privately owned mail services. That would be fine if more people supported it and if it was happening during a less critical time. Doing so during a pandemic and before an election is pretty shady business.

Why Does the US Postal Service Lose Money?

They have removed a flat sorter at the post office where a relative works. All of those automated sorters ARE COST CUTTERS, not cost drivers!!

Removing sorters is ABSURD!

The scum has openly stated that he wants to block funding because that will prevent mail-in voting from working.

Good to know you are on record for supporting unlawful elections. I always say lefties are straight up filthy traitors but its always great when they confirm it.

Mirror mirror on the wall, says reality as the Trumpist cheers on Trump's attempts to steal the election.

LOL. The post office isn't there to make money. It's a public service. Someone who spends so much time lying about American politics should probably know that.

He will have to block an awful lot of funding. The post office sorts and delivers 471M pieces of mail every day. A couple hundred pieces over the the course of a few weeks is a drop in the bucket for them. But changing election ballot mail from 1st class to bulk, now that is a big deal. I wonder if USPS can be enjoined from that move.

Which would of course turn USPS into a business.

Somebody needs to get Trump a copy of the Constitution. Actually forget it. He only has about 85 days before he gets his butt kicked and then another 80 or so before he has to vacate the premises. Since a "See spot run" version of the Constitution will not do for a sitting President, it's hopeless. There is just no sense in trying spend any time trying to drill into Trump's cement head at this point.

That 85 days is going to be hell for America.
