I don't know about you, but I would like to see the political position of each individual member to come back again under the avatar. I really liked that function.

I never had a political position listed, and I don't trust others' assessment of their own positions, so i never really paid any attention to them.
It doesn't matter one way or the other to me, although it shouldn't be a difficult feature to bring back, if enough people want it.
