Political junkie since 1972

Hi,

I have been a political junkie since the 1972 Presidential election. I am interested in politics as a competitive sport, but also like to delve into the underlying ideologies and philosophies that inform our political beliefs. My political leanings have veered wildly through the years, so I can't ever pin down where I stand. I enjoy online forums in subjects such as sports, entertainment, and of course politics. I have only made one post here in the entertainment forum to get my feet wet. I hope to find discussions that I can make meaningful contributions to. I'll probably just read a lot first before I dive in too much.
