WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama has met with executives from tech companies including Apple Inc. and AT&T Inc. about concerns stemming from the disclosure of sweeping government surveillance programs.

Obama, tech leaders discuss NSA concerns

Which of the following can be deduced from the article. . .

a) The CEOs of Apple and AT&T are concerned about the scope of NSA surveillance activities because they're afraid it will cost them customers who care about their privacy

b) The CEOs of Apple and AT&T are concerned about the public revelations of the scope of NSA surveillance activities, because they use the NSA to gather intelligence on their customers, competitors, and politicians, and therefore are mad at Obama for hiring people like Snowden

c) The CEOs of Apple and AT&T are honored that Obama met with them, so that they could share their concerns/ideas about data privacy with him

d) None of the above

I'm clueless, this article is below the high school journalism level.

The "Five W's" (Who, What, When, Why, Where) are suppose to be in the first paragraph, it wasn't.

The "what" and "why" aren't really answered.

I'm sure they were told to bring their corporat check books to the meeting.

D) Nothing was disclosed about the meeting's purpose. I found this quote telling:

Privacy groups also attended the meeting, which wasn't on Obama's public schedule.

E) This article doesn't provide enough information to come to a conclusion about the intentions and beliefs of those involved.

F) It's disturbing that the President of the US met with Corporate Heads to discuss Business regarding Spying and other Invasive measures committed by the government using their technology.

The correct answer is B. It's brutally obvious: the meeting was intended to be secret, the so called "privacy" groups are actually industry lobbyists, and the CEOs of MSFT and GOOG, are, according to opensecrets.com, heads of companies that gave generous donations to Obama.

The fact that no one succeeded at answering this very easy question shows what's wrong w/this country--voters are naive .
