If you want people to stop protesting, this brutal behavior needs to stop.

There are two videos in the link. I have not had luck directly linking to videos in tweets in the past. In the first video, you see a line of cops on bikes. A man is collapsed in their path. Some cops avoid him. Then you see one cop ride over his head, front wheel, then back wheel. Then in the background, you can see a couple other cops get off and pile on the guy.

There is a second video showing that this guy did not lie down in their path. He was already lying in the street. Cops were riding by on bikes - not yet riding over his head. A protester runs over to try to render aid, and what do the cops do? They shout him away. And they leave the injured man collapsed in the street, to be run over as depicted in the first video.

And you're telling protesters that they're in the wrong? That they should be linking arms with the police and making threads to condemn violence against them? This is a perfect example of why these protests are raging. People are sick to death of the callous indifference, the arrogance, the malevolence of so many of our officers. They've come to believe they are entitled to do whatever they damn please to citizens because they're "the good guys".
________

Here's an older article from an ex-cop.

It's quite long and covers many areas, but he does address the bad apple routine. By his estimation,

15% do the wrong thing whenever they can.
15% always do the right thing
70% go along with what their partner is up to.

If you're getting ready to say "15%" is only a small minority, you'd be wrong - it's more than 1 in 10 - and better suited for life in a brutal state like North Korea. But the number isn't just that 15% that do the wrong thing whenever they can. It's that 15% plus the half of that 70% that goes along with whatever is happening around them.

15% of cops will do the wrong thing and 35% will go along with that wrong thing. Think about that. You're not being asked to take it from me. You're being asked to take it from an ex-cop.

There is something seriously wrong in this country. The police brutalize us with impunity, and we brutalize each other. See also

You're right, the protesting will subside when the brutal abuse and killings of Americans by racist/power drunk cops in this country stops. Until that happens, the protests are valid and necessary.

Wow! If he would have slipped of that guys helmet he could have broken his neck. He blatantly tried to hurt that guy.

1. Different incidents. Yellow road lines absent in one.

2. He did not ride over him. He pulled the bike over the guy.

These are riots, not protests. There's no justification for burning, looting and killing.

Yea, they're wrong for burning and looting private businesses. The protesters should have attacked that cop when he ran over the guy's head. If your problem is with the cops, then go after the cops, and leave everybody else alone.

He did not ride over the guy's head.
He rolled his over the guy. That distinction is a big difference from riding over him.

As someone else here said, two different events...unrelated to each other. Since the second one doesn't even show someone riding over the guy in the street, we'll just ignore it as being off topic.

So...the first video.

You are lying...twice.

1. The cop didn't "ride" over the person. The cop "got off his bike and rolled it over the person". That is quite different, don't you think?
2. The other cops didn't "pile on the guy". They stopped to render aid...or arrest...whichever was called for.

So...no "brutal behavior". None.

Your dishonest whining and crying over something that didn't happen is...dismissed.

2nd vid had the person in the middle of the street. Who moved him to the curb in the 1st vid.
Police was walking not riding bike as he crossed over the indivdual.

This is the problem with seeing 11 second vids. They do not tell the full story. While the first vid looks bad for law enforcement it does not present enough of the before and after action.

Yes, burning and looting are very bad, but that does not justify cops acting just as badly or worse.

Wow, the shit you will tell yourself to justify bad behavior...

No one said it did. But, Leftists are damn sure justifying the riots and promising more violence if Trump wins the election.

The title is a lie. He did not ride a bike over the guy.

Then again, lying is the #1 tactic of the Democratic Party. Remember, Joe Biden ordered Democrats to never accept facts so most don't.

Justify bad behavior? Wut? iLOL
The officer did not ride his bike over the guy's head.

If you do not understand those two simple facts, you need to get better eyes.

Not only did the officer not ride his bike over the person, we don't know that the person was injured.

You're saying he was holding the bike in his hands and hit the guy in the head with it, first with the front wheel and second with the back, and that's OK?

Sure looks like riding over someone's head to me. The alternative isn't any better.

What I am saying is the short vids do not provide adequate context. The incident should be investigated.
In the tweet the second one shows the person in the middle of the street. The other one has him by the curb.
If others moved him why leave him in the street if he needed help? Sorry, but if he made the decision to lay in the street with a group of bike cops , you take a risk.

How did he move? What was the time from the laying in the middle of the street to the one at the curb. Did he put himself by the curb?
There are so many questions not answered by looking at 11 seconds.

"do not provide adequate context" is an idiotic dodge when no context is needed. They can see the guy lying there. That's why the other cops go around him. It was 100% intentional.

I even put screenshots up.

I don't need to know why he's "by the curb" to know it's wrong to ride a bike over his head, or possibly repeatedly hit him with a bike he was carrying. Just like I don't need to know what happened inside a police cruiser when I'm judging a cop kneeling on a man's neck for 9 minutes, 3 of which are after he goes completely limp.

Did the person make the decision to lie down in the street?
Did the person see the cops on bikes coming towards him?
Seems the person made a stupid decision if he did.

Thn get better eyes/glasses/contacts, as he certainly did not ride the bike over his head.

It isn't just about bad behavior. It is also about the lack of accountability. There will always be some amount of bad cops, but the system needs to hold them accountable when bad things happen. Currently we don't hold them accountable and so people are in the streets.

The cop wasn't on his bike at the time. He was just walking the bike.

The protester seems to be a guy called "Trumpet Man" that has a penchant for getting himself on video through stupid human tricks. Yeah, the cop was giving back a little of what he was getting but it wasn't the least bit dangerous.

If you want to see dangerous then check this video out from the same "protest" - - The cop in this video gets a traffic cone thrown at him then takes a baseball bat to the head from behind.

You have to put yourself in the Trump®et mindset. They're cops cops = good, therefore "bad behavior" by cops is not possible, simply is a librul myth. If the cops "appear" to have acted wrongly, it's just librul snowflakes can't handle the reality that cops are always right.

You need to watch again.
