Deonte Murray, 36, of Compton was already in custody in a separate case when police identified him as the suspect in the deputies' shooting. He was arrested earlier this month and charged with shooting a man during a carjacking, Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey said.

Exactly! It almost has become cliche hasn't it? If there is a story about 20 teenagers on a subway in NYC beating and robbing people, they will never mention the race of the kids. But some white kids fart in church and the race is mentioned as well as the photos.
