I love the freedom to defend myself with a gun. Liberals didn't bring me that. In fact, they want it reserved for the wealthy and the connected only. The peons, to the degree that aren't part of the "militia," can go **** themselves.

It's nothing anyone can control, and it's a byproduct of social media. Life's a bitch. Free country ya know. I fail to see how cancel culture reflects anything from a liberal politics point of view. I see people realizing and using power they never had before the rise of social media. It doesn't work with big stars anyway, and I have no sympathy for youtubers. It's not political.

True and those citizens pay for that private security with their own personal funds not city tax dollars.

It would be fine for the council to pool their money together and hire a security detail, or I could even get on board if the city council put on measure in the next election to use tax dollars for city officials private security. The voters would have a say that way. My sticking point is doing so without proper voter input and it seems little transparency.

Liberals absolutely fought for the right of common people to own arms. If you don't understand that, you don't understand how liberalism brought about the downfall of aristocracy. You don't understand how liberalism spelled the end of the feudal system.
And if you think liberalism is attached to a few elite, you really need to look it up in a dictionary or encyclopedia and educate yourself.

Unbelievable. I just listened to a lady this afternoon on the phone to the POLICE DEPARTMENT about being threatened in her car by "protesters" and the person on the other end saying that she needs to call City Hall?? She had a child with her and was afraid and got the same answer. She said they were jumping on her car now and got the same answer. Those were the orders.

How many years did Trump fund democrats? How many SC rulings did conservatives lose recently because of Trump appointments? Quit the jokes and evaluate if you are actually conservative or just a liberal hater. I don't expect much. Seeing as how your ideology is tied to a man who constantly supports communist, socialist countries?
