The Seym of the Republic of Poland condemns the provocative and untrue statements of representatives of the highest authorities of the Russian Federation trying to blame Poland for the outbreak of World War II. The greatness of the nation and relations between states cannot be built on lies and falsifying history, "reads the resolution adopted on Thursday by acclamation. In this way, MPs opposed the manipulation of facts and hypocrisy of history by politicians of the Russian Federation in order to discredit Poland and deteriorate Russian-Polish relations.

The document reminded that the outbreak of World War II was caused by the two totalitarian powers of the time: Nazi Germany and the Stalinist Soviet Union, and after the conclusion of the infamous Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact in August 23, 1939, the first victims of both totalitarian regimes were Poland and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe . "The war caused the deaths of tens of millions of people, the creation of Nazi concentration camps and the Holocaust in Europe - one of the greatest crimes in the history of humanity," says the resolution.

The resolution emphasized that the Seym of the Republic of Poland refused to return to imperial counterfeiting, which would undo the historical dialogue of the Russian authorities with other nations. "The Seym of the Republic of Poland pays homage to the victims of Nazi and Soviet totalitarianism and expresses the desire that the history of their martyrdom should never be falsified and treated instrumentally. The Sejm of the Republic of Poland calls for joint reflection on the principles of building international relations, which should be the basis for mutual respect, partnership and good neighborliness, "stressed in the adopted document.

The picture is of a joint Nazi and Red Army parade in the city of Brest-Litovsk on the carving up of Poland between the two back-stabbing dictators.

At that time (1939), Brest was located in Poland. Today it is located in Belarus.
 
World War I caused WWII.

WWI was in my view an incredibly stupid venture. Britain gets upset that Germany develops its navy. You go to war over that? Arabs fight on our side and are sold out as France and England divide the Middle East. We and they are still paying the price for that now.

Read about the battle of the Somme, 20k dead the first day. On one side. WWI was the crime of the 20th century. It destroyed a generation of young men of Europe and gave us Hitler and Stalin for desert. It was WWII, chapter one. No WWI, no WWII.

There is no single cause. The Russian Revolution was a cause as an example. Agreeing to the Munich Agreement could have been a cause as a sign of weakness and the following invasion empowering the military and government to the popularity of warfare and the rapid victory, plus a sign of weakness of France and Russia to honor alliances, plus the appeasement of the UK, disinterest in the rest of Europe and the United States.

It did become a World War in the West with the invasion of Poland.
 
There was no parade. There was a transfer of the city from Germany to the jurisdiction of the USSR. The transfer was carried out in accordance with international diplomatic and military rules of the day.
 
Most of the reasons for world war 2 can be found in the first world war and what happened after that.

Lenin was allowed to go back to Russia by the Germans in the hope the Russians would stop fighting with the allies and would stop with the war effort. Lenin was very much against the 1st world war.

Then there was the cowardly German leaders who made the socialists make peace with the Allied forces after asking them to do so but as soon as the socialists did this the military leaders said that they were stabbed in the back the socialists and that they would have won the war if not for them evil Weimar traitors.

Then there was the insulting demands on Germany in Versailles, land loss, loss of having armed forces and huge war reparations. This was partly caused by Wilson being forced out of Europe and the aggressive vindictive other Allies desire to punish Germany as hard as they could.

The Kaiser was forced out of Germany and a weak government who did not have the support of the South of Germany and the military made the Weimar republic weaker than it needed to be. The only saving grace was IMO the United States and the US banks who loaned huge amounts of money to Germany and it was starting to improve in Germany. But the banks did not just lend to Germany it lend money to any person who wanted to invest in stocks, and that bubble (just like later bubbles) at a certain point just burst and sent the US into the great depression, the US banks wanting their loans from the Germans back NOW, it made the German economy collapse again.

All this and other internal political troubles in Germany caused Hitler to stand up and the extreme partisan German political system split the country in conservatives and socialist/social democrats/commies battling each other. The NSDAP had a tie braking vote to give either block the power, the left was going to be chosen by Hitler and the foolish conservative leaders on the right thought they were able to "control" Hitler. They were wrong and Germany and the world would suffer greatly for it.

The whole issue with Poland was that Hitler thought he could get away with anything. He was allowed to take control of Austria, he was allowed to get his hand on Sudetenland even though they were not original member of the German empire. He then took the rest of Czecho-Slowakia. And nobody acted.

Stalin thought that making a deal with Germany would protect his borders, Stalin was an idiot who just destroyed his own military leadership and thought that a deal with Germany would protect his interest. Hitler just wanted the first part of his great plan of Lebensraum in the East.

But the whole problem started with the unresolved issues from WW1 and everything that came after it.

The only funny thing was that Stalin made Hitlers campaign promise come true, German troops would march over the Red Square, sadly for them not as victors but as prisoners of war.

I do not understand what you want imply here but Marx and Engels did not factor into the commie dictator Stalin because he was more into Stalinism than he was in Marxism.

Common knowledge recognizes WWI caused WWII, based on 100 years of history, research, and writing that has been instilled in every students on earth that reached HS and higher.

Now you are spamming and being sarcastic because you are exposed as unknowing about these issues. But look silly all you want. Your interpretation of the causes of WWII is not accepted by the overwhelming majority of qualified historians.
